Jackson had his 6th birthday! He was so excited to be 6 and have his birthday. He loves birthdays. His birthday was on a Sunday so we didn't go anywhere other than church and Ashlee's house that day. We let him open his presents before church.
I thought he found a pretty comfy spot to open his presents.
This was from Jordan. I picked it out for Jordan to give Jack. Jordan saw a picture of something similar that we used to have and wanted one. I wanted to get one for Easter, I think, but couldn't find one. When I found one before Jackson's birthday I knew Jordan would want to give it to him. Jordan was very excited about it :)
Jordan's card for Jack.

Cute Jordan.
Jack was excited to get some Tootie Frooties that were almost as big as him.
Kenzie was excited too.
Because we don't have enough big toys in our house, we got Jackson a big race track. The kids have loved playing with it. I think it's 6 feet long or something. But it fold up pretty flat so it's easy to store.
After nap time we went to Ashee's house for dinner and cake and ice cream and presents. It was nice outside and the kids jumped outside on the trampoline most of the time we were there.
Jackson was very spoiled. He got a lot of great presents.
He was very excited to get a lot of baseball stuff.
Don't you like my dad's hat? :)
Jack's new love is chess so he was very excited to get this game that has chess (and checkers and pick up sticks and tic tac toe and several other games) in it. He loves playing it whenever he can. Luckily for him, Jordan will do most anything Jackson wants him to do most of the time.
Jack also loved this big yellow ball.
Jack got some things that you put in the water then they grow into animal sponges. Jack and Alli are watching them.
Blowing out candles.
Coleman with great grandma Crabtree in the background.
We went to the jumpy house last week too for his birthday.
Since Coleman can crawl now we put him on the jumpy things and let him play. He didn't like the ones that were fully enclosed with just a net opening. He liked to see us better I think. But he liked the little kid zone as long as he could see us.
Jack wanted to take a picture with Colie.
Kenzie made a sad face when I took her picture. She likes to make sad, grumpy, and mad faces for the camera :)
There were pictures on the slides showing what you shouldn't do when you ride down the slide and one that showed what you should do. The boys liked looking at the pictures and choosing one that they would be like when they went down the slide. They didn't do anything they shouldn't do because most of the pictures were just showing ways you shouldn't ride with other people. There was one picture of a guy with his arms up (I think he didn't wait until the other person got down the slide :)) and the boys liked picking him the most. He had his hands up when he was going down and so that's what they would do. I thought it was pretty funny :)
Kenzie climbed up the slide a few times saying she would go down it, but once she got to the top she wouldn't so she came down the latter again.
We all had a fun week of celebrating his birthday! We are so happy he is in our family. He is a sweet boy and loves to help most of the time. He loves sharing. He often saves some of his snack everyday to share with his siblings and me on our walk home. He loves playing with his siblings. He loves being a leader to them (AKA convincing them to do what he wants...typical oldest child :)) He loves reading and learning. His favorite things to study are dinosaurs, space, and animals. He loves making up games with Jordan for them to play. He loves wearing shorts and pajamas. He says "Oh, come on." all the time. He's a cute boy and we love him so much!
