Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas Eve!
Ready to open the Christmas Eve present.

The kids opened their Christmas jammies.

Then their Christmas Eve presents from the Kenyons. Cute Christmas mugs and hot chocolate.

We went to church for a short sacrament meeting then went to my parents' new house. We had a yummy dinner. We had a smaller group for dinner.

Right after dinner we did the pinata instead of singing since it was snowing and we new the Reams would want to get home before the roads got too bad.

Coleman was second, after Cam.

He beheaded it!

Cute Camryn

My parents taped it back together really well.

Kenzie

Jordan

Jackson could barely stand after spinning.

It was taped so well that even Kimber got a turn this year! And she did it in high heeled shoes without falling. Amazing.

My mom had a turn too.

And  Doug

And Konrad

And my dad

And Ashlee. All the kids went twice and most the adults went once. The candy inside was smashed. There were smarties and laffy taffy pieces all over the floor.

It snowed!

Alli and Sam did tricks.

Kenzie is sitting on Colie, but it looks like his legs are hers :)

Then we opened family presents.

Then we read the Christmas story and sangs songs.

The kids played Christmas songs.

Then we sang more Christmas songs. Everyone was getting really into and it got kind of wild. These girls were dancing.

The little girls joined them too.

There were also contests too see who could hold the last note the longest and loudest. Doug, Coleman, and Kimber often were the winners, I think.

I was worried about driving home in the snow because it had fallen for a couple hours, but the roads were pretty clear and we had no problem getting home.

Sugar Cookies

We made and decorated cookies together!

Gingerbread Houses

We decorated gingerbread houses with the Crabtrees.

Doug's house and my house.

Kimber stepped it up this year and sifted powdered sugar for her and Jake's house.

Coleman made a person and said it couldn't stand because  it's legs weren't strong enough.

He worked a long time on his house. He told me later that he wanted to be the last one done, but Sam just kept going and going.

Everyone with their houses.

Jack (doing a mini dab) was light on his decorations this year. He doesn't really have the Christmas spirit this year... except when it comes to presents of course.

Ashlee's house. Hers is always so cute and perfect looking :)

My mom came too, but she didn't decorate one. Maybe one of these years she will :)

A little bear.

Doug's person house had hair in the back.

A sleeping baby with her binky.

Coleman still working on his. Sam's next to him working on hers too.

His is finished he needed 2 plates for it.

Sam's. She's did an awesome job on it!

After we too pictures, she wanted to see if she could add more to it.

I took a picture of it before she finished in case it collapsed.

It didn't collapse and it looked amazing!
