The Old House

We went to visit our old house on Sunday. Our renters just moved out and we're planning on selling it now. The kids always want to go in it and were so excited to finally be able to.
This is before we left. He looks so handsome in his bow tie.

This picture makes me laugh. Jordan looks huge and Kenzie looks so tiny.

The old house:
Kenzie's old room.

It was fun they wanted to climb in the cupboards like they did when we lived there :)

I told Jackson I have a picture of him sitting in between the fridge and the cupboard. He tried to squeeze back there, but didn't quite fit.

Of course Mackenzie had to try too.

She wants to move back to our old house and cried most of the way home because we're not moving back there. Coleman and Jordan also say they want to live there. Funny kids.

Wrestling with Grandpa

My dad came over one night and wrestled with the kids.

Basketball

The boys are playing basketball on the same team this year. They are both having a lot of fun.
Jack

Jordan. His shorts had pockets in him and half the time he was playing his hands were in his pockets. We told him he can't wear pants with pockets in them anymore to basketball. Last week he said he would just wear them backwards because he never puts his hands in them when they're backwards.  I still didn't let him.

Jordan always throws the ball in when he plays.

Jackson

Jackson throws the ball in sometimes.
I love her style :)

New Years Eve and New Years Day

We went to the Crabtree's for New Years Day. My parents were there and brought Kenna with them. Nati was sick so Michelle and Richard stayed at my parent's house with her. This was the first year my kids stayed up until midnight. They were so excited!
The kids made a play and performed it for us.

The adults playes games. We even convinced Kimber to play Pictionary with us because we needed one more girl for the girl team. I love Pictionary!

Grandma read Coleman books. He was pretty tired by midnight.

Happy New Year!

The kids banged pots and pans.

Grandma and Coleman came outside for a little bit to get in the picture.

The next day we went to the mall. All 18 of us. It was a Riding first. Usually the boys stay home :)

We spent the rest of the afternoon at Ashlee's house. Michelle was in charge of making 1000 cookies for her nephew's wedding. We helped her make 442 that afternoon. It didn't take that long because of Ashlee's double convection oven. And because Michelle had made the dough before.

Kenzie bought these with her Christmas money from Grandma Dance. She loves stuffed animals :)

Mother/Daughter Trip

My sisters and I surprised my mom with a hotel and tickets to see the Sound of Music in Seattle for the 4 of us. It was so much fun! We first stopped at Cafe Rio for lunch and shopped at Alderwood Mall. Then we checked into our hotel in Seattle. Next we went to the Sheraton to see the gingerbread houses, ate dinner at Cheesecake Factory and watched Sound of Music. The play was fantastic! We all loved it. The next day we ate donuts at Pike's Place Market and did some more shopping. We ate lunch at the Yard Stick, which is one of my mom's favorite restaurants in Hawaii. It's brand new to Seattle. It was such a fun couple days!

The gingerbread houses were Star wars themed. We started to stand in line because it didn't seem too long. But it moved really slowly, so we just walked around to the back and saw them from there. There were pretty amazing.

Ready for the Sound of Music.

Waiting for our food at the Yard Stick.

Mackenzie missed me a little. She made me a sign, a puppy (maybe it's her), a person (maybe me), and a crown and put them in the big white envelope that she also colored. I love seeing all the things she creates.
