Last night we had our church Christmas party. One of the young women came up to Kenzie and asked her what her name was. Kenzie responded with "Princess Peach." We laughed and Doug asked her what her real name is. Jordan tried to help her out and said "Kenzie" but she still claimed Princess Peach is her name. So next time you see her you should ask her her name. She'll likely say Princess Peach.
A few more cute things Kenzie did yesterday:
After the ward party as we were walking in the hall Doug handed me one of her boots. (I didn't even notice she was missing one. My boys never would have gotten away with taking their shoes off in that kind of situation. She gets away with a lot more than they ever did... hopefully she still turns out okay. :)) I mentioned something to Kenzie about her missing a shoe and she just laughed loudly and kept on going.
When we got home Jack was standing in the garage by the door to the house and Kenzie ran up behind him and said "Beat you!" It was pretty funny. Especially since she didn't actually beat him and it was Jackson and he was not happy that we agreed with her. He hates losing. In fact, when we got inside he ran in front of her and said "beat you!"

Jackson loses a tooth
Jackson lost his first tooth today. We're not really sure where or when it happened. I just noticed it was gone while I was talking to him tonight. We looked around but couldn't find it anywhere. I think he must have swallowed it sometime. I can't believe he's big enough to lose teeth. And I can't believe that he likely swallowed his first lost tooth. How am I supposed to scrapbook it now? Just kidding :)

This Means...
Jordan likes to make actions mean things. He'll say "when I do this it means (whatever he wants it to mean.)" And then he'll do the action expecting us do respond accordingly. Here's some examples:
He said Coleman makes this face sometimes. So it's now the Colie-face.
He said Coleman makes this face sometimes. So it's now the Colie-face.
At first it meant "I love you" but then it changed to "I love Colie."Clapping his hands with his arms stretched out...
"I want a hug"
Opening and closing his mouth...
Opening and closing his mouth...
"I want a kiss."
Pointing in his cup...
Pointing in his cup...
"I want more water."
Making this crazy face...
"I love you."

The sides of Jackson
The angry side:
A few weeks ago Jackson was pretty upset. It all started from him being mad that I said I wouldn't tell him a story on the way home from school until after he told me about his day at kindergarten. He kept stopping when we were walking and saying he wasn't going to walk with us. He did this the whole way home which landed him in his room when we got home until he calmed down. Before he calmed down these are some of the things he said/shouted from his room.
-If you don't let me out I"m never going to let you in my room again. Except for laundry.
-You're asking for it. (I don't know where he learned that. I'm pretty sure Doug and I don't say that... But maybe we do without me noticing it...)
-That's it. You asked for it.
-(He started throwing a pack of diapers at the door and I told him if he broke the door he'd have to do a ton of chores to earn the money to pay for a new door. He said something like this:) I'm not doing any chores to pay for a new door.
He had quite a few funny things he was saying. I should have recorded them so I could remember them better.
The sweet side:
This conversation was on the way home from my parents' house tonight:
Jack: Santa's definitely going to give presents to Kenzie.
Me: Yeah... because she's so cute?
Jack: Yeah, and she never makes bad choices. She's just my favorite little girl.

5 Months

He's very smiley and is starting to laugh occasionally.
He really loves to be held and doesn't last long not being held unless there's a lot of entertainment around him that he can see.
He likes watching TV.
He doesn't go to bed as easily as he used to. We usually either rock him or let him lay downstairs with us while he falls asleep.
He also doesn't sleep as good as he used to.
He loves baths.
He's still not rolling consistently. And I'm okay with that.
He loves his family and is so happy when he sees us.
He makes a high pitch sound a lot. It's usually a happy sound.
He's still little and skinny.
He's cute and we love him.
Here's a cute video of him laughing:

5 and a Half!
Jackson had his half birthday on Sunday. He was really excited for it and kept asking me if I was going to surprise him like we surprised Jordan for his half birthday. I kept telling him no. But we did and so he was happy :) One of his friends in his primary class gave him a happy half-birthday card. It was pretty cute. Jack must have told him before that it was going to be his half birthday.

We spiked his hair in the front recently. He also let me spike it all one day. He usually doesn't like me to do anything to his hair So I was excited. He had his primary program on Sunday. He did an awesome job. He memorized his part and said it perfectly. I was pretty proud of him. My sister requested a video of it so here it is:
He's a few things about Jack these days:
He loves school, but is happy he doesn't go all day.
He loves graham crackers and usually wants them for all his snacks.
He has a very loose tooth. I can't believe he's that big. But he's excited for the tooth fairy to come.
He's really good a remembering and memorizing things.
He loves me to tell him stories.
He doesn't like doing homework.
He's a tantrum thrower.
Lately he's been threatening us like "if you put me in bed, then I'll keep on getting out of it." I don't think I'll be too sad when this phase passes.
He's a good brother and loves playing with his brothers and sister.
