Father's Day and Coleman's Family Party

We had a great Father's Day! We're so grateful for Doug and love him so much!

The kids gave him Father's Day hugs and he gave them a Father's Day tackle.

Jackson had come home for the summer a few days before!

He opened some presents:

He took a Father's Day nap.

We had dinner at Ashlee's and celebrated Coleman's birthday!

Reese's Puffs and money!

Fun in the Sun

We had a sunny weekend the first week of June so we went to Ashlee's to play in the lake on Saturday and to my mom's to swim in the pool! We had lots of fun!
Ashlee found Jordan a Jordan diet coke and had to buy it for him!

Coleman and Cam jumping in!

Cam and Kenzie paddleboarding.

Coleman fell off right before I was about to take a picture of him.

Jordan and Cam

Kenzie, Doug, Coleman, Jordan, me and Cam.

It was so hot, my arms stuck to the tube, especially the one I was using to hold onto the square mat. I got some bruises from when I pulled them. So, always remember to keep your tubes wet so you don't stick to them!

Doug and I went kayaking! (I'm pretty sure it was my first time ever on Lake Tapps... I usually am too worried about falling into the cold water to do it. But I decided to be brave :))

We had a good time. And we came back dry :)

Ash and Cam came over for awhile too! Jordan, Kenzie, and Cam floating together.

Switch 2

Doug got home from Georgia the night the Switch 2 was released. It was released in America at midnight eastern time, so it was available at 9 our time. Doug had preordered one from Best Buy in Puyallup and he wanted us to all go together to get it. We thought there might be a little line, but we didn't expect an hour and a half long line! Luckily it was a nice night, and there was a Ross next door, so it wasn't so bad waiting that long :)
Us at the end of the line

Some of us were a little underdressed so Kenzie got pants at Ross (as well and a few other things... She loves to shop!)

And these two got sweatshirts! Jordan and I dress appropriately for the evening:)

We got it!

Doug pulled it out and did a little bit of the set up process. It was really late and he'd been up since about 3 or 4 our time and had only slept 3 or 4 hours so we all went to bed and played it the next day:)

Kent Spring 2025 Rubik's Cube Competition

Jordan had a Rubik's Cube competition on May 31st. Doug was in Atlanta and I was at Coleman's baseball and soccer games and Kenzie's dance recital so it was the first one he went to on his own. Luckily it was in Kent so he didn't have to drive far :) He had a lot of fun and did great! His next one is the World Championships in July!
He sent me a picture! He's such a great kid!

Dance Recital

Kenzie had her dance recital May 30th and May 31st. The theme this year was Mary Poppins. The show was excellent, even if it was a bit long :) Kenzie got an extra part as a hunter. She was also a street performer for her acro class and a chimney sweep for hip hop. She did a great job!

Morgan and Kenzie

All the senior hip hoppers were street performers. They all came on and off the stage for about 10 minutes. It was a really fun dance! Kenzie's in the lighter colored shirt behind the girl on the ground.

All the dancers!

Cam and Kenzie!

Ashlee also came, but she had to go to the bathroom and then didn't know where we were so she just went back to her seat:)

Stretching her hairnet over her face...

It was fun watching her dance all weekend!

Jordan's Gig

Jordan's bluegrass band has been playing a lot more gigs lately! They play at retirement centers. I love that he's able to do this and he's really enjoying playing in the band too.
