Jackson turns 18!

Jackson officially became an adult this year! We had a great time celebrating him!
His family party was a week before his birthday with Cam.

Kenzie made him a red velvet cake.

The birthday boy!

First thing he wanted to do was open presents!

He was surprised that he got some extra money from Grandma and Grandpa Riding.

He kept his presents well organized as he was opening them.

We went to Top Golf.

Kenzie's creation.

Then we went to Olive Garden for lunch and Cafe Rio for dinner.  He played video games and went to tennis between the two meals.

That night he and Jordan had a volleyball game. This is Jordan serving.

Coleman and Blake were line judges.

Kenzie made him another red velvet cake.

Dancing a bit to our singing:)

Mothers' Day

I had a great Mother's Day!
Doug and the kids surprised me with some presents before church. Kenzie spoke in church and the young men (and men) sang, with Jackson playing the piano.

Coleman got me a game called Totem which ended up being a game a little like Apples to Apples, except you pick cards that you think describe the person you're giving it to. They're all kind words so it's a game to build relationships. We each end up with two cards on our turn and that makes our totem.

Kenzie took a pack of gun and wrote a reason she loves me on each wrapper. It was so sweet and I've loved reading them the past couple weeks when I get some gum :)

19 years!

Doug and I celebrated our 19th anniversary this year! To celebrate we stayed in Seattle for a night and went to the symphony and out for Thai food. We also went out to Cafe Rio on our actual anniversary. It's been a great 19 years!
Doug's still as handsome as when I married him :)

At the Thai place in Seattle.

My Birthday

I had a great birthday! Doug and the kids spoiled me with presents. We went bowling, played games, ate at Banyon Tree and Cafe Rio, and watched Jackson and Jordan play volleyball. It was a great day!
My family party! My mom cooked roast beef and potatoes and made me a cake!

She gave me a card too:)

They decorated for my birthday!

Kenzie bought me a Lulu Lemon shirt from the thrift store and was so excited about it!

Coleman got me something to organize all my cash.

2 peas in a pod.

We used the cake from my family party. We put 39 candles in it :) Doug also made me muddy buddies!

Playing The Game.

More Soccer

April was filled with lots of soccer!

Kenzie and Coleman played each other! Each of their divisions only had 2 teams so they decided to switch things up and have the boys and girls play each other. We were gone in Texas when they played the other teams, but luckily they were able to play each other. They tied 0-0, which I thought was perfect:)

After c-team finished, Jordan was invited to play with JV for their last couple games!

Kenzie made the 8th grade soccer team! There weren't actually any cuts, but even if there had been she would have made it:)

Her team has a lot of new players so they haven't won very much, but she's still having lots of fun!

Kenzie's rec team

Another picture of her rec team.

Colie the goalie

Kenzie is number 25. This season she needed to cleats. since her old ones had hole in them. She chose a mismatched pair. It makes her easy to find on the field :)

She played Jenna! Jenna's team won by a lot.
