Dance Recital

Kenzie had her dance recital at the beginning of June. The theme this year was The Little Mermaid. They had three performances. One on Friday night and two on Saturday. All of them were great! I love watching her dance!
Kenzie is in the middle of the picture in the back. Two girls in our ward, Paisley and Grace, were Ariel and Prince Eric.

Kenzie's kind of behind the curtain in this picture.

All dressed up in her merchant costume. She was just in one dance this year since she was in soccer all year long.

She helped the younger girls come out and bow.

School Soccer

Jordan's team soccer picture!

Kenzie made the school soccer team! They didn't have any cuts and barely had enough girls to make two teams. She's on the JV team, but has played with varsity a couple times when the school they played didn't have a JV team.

Jenna's team beat Kenzie the first time they played.

Playing varsity!

In a surprising turn of events, Kenzie's team beat Mattson! They won 5-2! Her team was so excited after! They played so well and had a goalie who had never played goalie before, but she was a natural! It was so fun to watch them!

On the right is Kenzie's friend, Allie, from when she played on Coach Eric's team in Covington. It had been awhile since we'd seen her. It was fun to have them play against each other!

Kenzie's last two games were against Cedar Heights. I think they tied one game and won the final game. After losing by so much in the first several games, it was extra exciting for them to play so well in the last few games. It also makes us excited for next year!

Mariners' Game

We went to the Mariners' game on my dad's birthday! We had a great time!

Kenzie was so happy Grandpa still took the all to go get treats.

She loves making weird faces...

Coleman got a milkshake that was more like ice cream in a cup because it was so thick.

Grandpa's Birthday

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

It was a floating golf set for the pool. We went in on it the Crabtrees and Kenyons.

Donuts, whipped cream, and strawberries.

Rubik's Cube Competition

Jordan and Coleman both competed at a Rubik's Cube competition at Kent Station. Doug and I both went with them since it was so close and we had nothing else going on since it was Memorial Day weekend.

Jordan's schedule

Coleman only compete in the 3x3. All his times were under a minute so he was happy with how he did.

Jordan was judging while Coleman was solving, but he was never Coleman's judge unfortunately.

Doug solved the white side for the first time!

Jordan solving. He made it to the second round of 3x3.

Coleman's best time ever!

Jackson came to watch for a bit and solved a cube. He took Coleman home with him.

Defy

We went to Defy for the last time of the school year. It was lots of fun, as always :)

Riding Sonny

In May, Kenzie rode Sonny for the first time. Sonny is one of the beginner horses, but she's always rode Russell or Topaz, but both were not able to do lessons that day. Sonny was much slower than the others!

He often has his tongue hanging out. Kenzie stuck hers out too.
