Building Pinewood Derby Cars

Doug helped Jackson and Jordan build their cars. They had a pinewood derby in March and will have one again in April. Our scouts joined another troop in our stake this month and they are having their derby this month. Jackson got 3rd place. I wasn't there because I was playing volleyball, but I should be at the next one and hopefully I get some picture then.

Kenzie's Writings

Mackenzie made this card for Grandma Carlson's 90th birthday. It says, " Dear Grandma, I love you! Your the best. Happy Birthday! I hope you never die! Love Kenzie

I thought it was kind of funny, but Doug thought I shouldn't have actually sent it. I thought grandma might find it funny...

Kenzie has really been wanting to catch a mouse so she wrote instructions about how to catch one.

Mouse trap

get a bottle and lide (lid) and siissrs. and cheese

put the cheese in the bottle.

First Day of Spring

We went to Dairy Queen to get free ice cream cones and Rita's to get free Italian ice on the first day of spring. We had a great time:)

Coleman First Soccer Game

Coleman, Mackenzie and Jackson are all playing soccer this spring. Here are pictures of Coleman's first game. He's number 7 and is wearing a dinosaur hood.

He's not really very aggressive and usually just follows the other kids, so I'm happy I got at least one picture of him trying to get the ball :)

Playing goalie. After this game he said he didn't want to play goalie anymore.

Camping and Jordan's Wiggle Chair

Jordan needed to camp for part of his Wolf requirements. We didn't go at all last summer, and it's not camping weather right now, so we just sent up the tent in his room. Kenzie and Coleman wanted to sleep in it with him.

Jordan loves his new chair so much he carried it around for several days after getting it.

He always had a place to sit!

Leprechaun Houses

We made leprechaun houses at co-op. The kids had fun :)
