Spring Fair

We went to the Spring Fair in April too. We always love going. It was a rainy day, but we spent most of the time inside so it didn't really matter.

We saw some reptiles.

They had a lot of games/puzzlesbrain teasers. We spend a couple hours here. The kids loved it.

Coleman loves building towers and knocking them over.

There were also a lot of Daffodil  Princesses (and one queen), They were playing with kids. The boys played with this for a long time. They played Connect 4 for quite awhile. And then moved on to other games with her. The princesses kept coming up to Kenzie and talking to her and asking her name and she would always run to me and smile really big at me, but wouldn't talk to them.

They got their faces painted:
Sun

Rainbow

Ice cream.

Kenzie and Jordan were in a play called "The Cutest show on Earth" There job was to shoot the germs with bubbles. Kenzie was pretty scared of the Germinator.

Jack didn't want to be in it. :)

Buckling up to ride in the car.

After we ate lunch we walked around to look at animals.
The kids liked the petting zoo. Even Kenzie touched the animals, which I didn't think would happen. Their favorite was the bunny.

They milked a preten cow.

And we ate some cow chip cookies before going home. We walked around the entire fair trying to find the donuts we ate at the Puyallup fair in the fall (both fairs are at the same place) but we couldn't find any. So we settled on cow chip cookies. They were good, but not really worth the money I paid for them.

Haircuts and 22 months

Before:
Colie's hair was getting a little long and mulletish in the back.

I think it looked cute from the front still though :) If only I was a talented hair cutter I could have left the top longer.

Long in the back.

After:
This is kind of a weird picture of him, but it's the best one that shows the sides/back.

Cute boy looking old.

It was his 22 month birthday.

Only 2 more months till he's 2. This is the first time I've have a child reach the age of 22 months and not had another baby. I'm still working on convincing Doug we should have more...:)

Jackson got a hair cut too. I didn't take a before picture of him. So you just get to see the after.
My handsome 6 year old.

Mariners' Game

We went to a Mariners game with my parents in April. It was rainy so we brought out umbrellas. Luckily Safeco Field has a roof so we didn't get wet during the game. It was really cold that night. And we ended up leaving early because it was so cold and the Mariners were losing.
Kenzie looked so cute walking with her umbrella.

So did Jordan :)

Coleman, Doug, Jackson.

Jordan and my mom. I had to take a ton of pictures to get a good one. Jordan just wouldn't stay focused. And on the few he was looking at the camera my mom blinked or looked at him :)

I love this little girl. She's too cute.

So is this baby.

Grandpa took them all (except Coleman) to get treats in the 5th inning like he always does. They all loved their cotton candy :)

Thanks mom and dad! We can't wait till the next game!

Mustaches

We found these mustache straws on clearance at Target and thought they would be fun.The boys thought they were pretty funny :)

Doug is 30!

Doug turned 30 in April. He can't believe he's so old now :)

We wrapped his presents then hid them around the house. The boys put paper all over and he was supposed to find his presents by following the right path. There were many wrong paths he could take. But he did end up finding all of the presents.

Jackson was so excited about the paths.

No present in the pantry.

He found the 1st one.

Everyone was excited to have him open it.

Heading to the basement.

Present number 2 was cooking in Kenzie's oven.

Kenzie told him her blankie is not his present.

The kids loved that he was picking up random objects asking if it was his present.

The last present was in the bedroom.

It was from the kids. They were so excited to give it to him. It was a bug play land for our hexbugs.

Colie thought it was food though.

After he opened presents we went to dinner at Chuck E. Cheese's. And of course we played games/rode rides. The kids were so excited he chose to go there.

I put Coleman on the little merry-go-round. He's been on it before and usually likes it. But he hated when I put him in there. But after a few seconds of riding he was happy :)

Kenzie loves that ride. I like it too because I can put 3 kids on it for only one token!

Doug talked to his brother Brian :)

Then we came home and we sang him happy birthday, he blew out the candles, and we ate Baby Ruth Bars.

Some of the candles were being very tricky and kept re-lighting after he's blow them out.

We decorated while Doug was at work. The boys did a space them. They made all the planets and the sun and the astroid belt and we put them all over the wall.

Here's a few of them:
Earth (by Jordan)

Jupiter with it's big red spot (by Jordan)

Mars. It says "I'm Mars" (by Jackson)
