Jordan's Birthday Party

Jordan had his birthday party on March 11th. He was a little sick that day, but still had a great party.

 Jordan opening his presents.

Jordan's easel from my parents. We all are enjoying having this. We like playing Pictionary on it. I'm happy my kids love playing one of my favorite games :) Jordan likes to draw "silly" pictures. Jackson always does his best on his pictures. Kenzie usually draws me, or sometimes some else in the family. And she usually has us guess before she draws :)

Jackson was just as excited (if not more excited :)) about Jordan's presents. There were many that he loved.

Grandma Riding.

Grandpa Crabtree came too. Grandma was busy but couldn't come. Kenzie had fun playing with grandpa.

Jordan was pretty excited to get some Reese's Puffs.

A disk shooter from the Crabtrees.

Since sewing is my new favorite thing to do in my spare time, I made Jordan a cape and some masks.

I also made him a tool belt.

A Robot

Listening to everyone sing happy birthday.

Blowing out the candles.

Licking off the frosting.

Choosing the best one.

Taking the first bite.

Grandpa Riding, Kimber, Jack, Jordan, Sam, Alli, Kenzie enjoying cupcakes.

Coleman

Ashlee, Kimber, Grandma.

I also made Jordan a monster pillow. It's just a pillow made out of felt with a pocket that has felt pieces in it that can be put on the front to make faces.

Jackson knocked over Coleman's baby food while playing with my dad. Doug told him he had to clean it up. Jackson wasn't too happy about that so my dad helped him clean it up. I thought I should take a picture of my dad scrubbing the carpet since that doesn't happen too often :)

100th Day of School

Jack celebrated his 100th day of school a few weeks ago. He decorated a hat at school with 100 stickers.I wanted a picture with him in it. Instead of just one I got several. And several of Jordan too. These pictures make me laugh so I thought I'd share them.

Guess who's a big girl!

Mackenzie!

I started potty training Kenzie last Monday and she's done great since then. Definitely the easiest of the 3 so far. She hates having wet or dirty underwear so she tells me when she has to go and goes in the potty. We haven't had any big accidents since Tuesday and I don't think she's had any at all in the last couple days.

We let her watch Dora if she goes poo in the potty. I think this will be harder to break her from than getting candy as a reward.

Random Pictures

I'm not sure what's going on in this picture (or the next 2) but I thought they were funny so I added them.

Jordan being crazy.

Kenzie's pretty hair.

I have a Kindle Fire. Jackson loves reading on it. Recently he got into reading the "Stink" chapter books so we've checked a few out from the library through the kindle and he reads them on there. I'm excited that he's loving reading chapter books.

We've been having reading time everyday after lunch. Jordan has been getting more into reading too. He likes to read the signs we pass on our way home after dropping Jack off at school. Even when it's pouring down rain and cold and he hasn't eaten breakfast. I've also put all the books he can read into a bin and so now he likes to get the books he can read out and read them. I'm excited he's enjoying reading more now.

I've been very into sewing lately. I got a new sewing machine before Christmas and it's amazing how much more fun it is to sew with one that I don't have to fix every time I try to sew. And because of Pintrest I have lots of ideas of things to make. I have plans to make things for each of the kids' birthdays and for Easter. Plus a bunch of other stuff too. I made the boys some pillow mattresses using duvet covers. I'm going to make Kenzie one too. The above picture is of Jackson sleeping on his. Jordan's not very good at being quiet when he gets in his bed, especially when Jack is in the room too so we have Jack sleep in the loft while we wait for Jordan to go to sleep. Before I made the pillow mattresses he was sleeping on the floor or on other pillows, but was never very comfortable. He was excited to have something comfy to sleep on.

This is Jordan's.

Peggled

Doug has a game on his phone called Peggled. To play the game you drop balls onto pegs, trying to make the pegs disappear. I guess Jackson likes this game because he made up his own version using a ping pong ball and our letter magnets on the fridge.

Shooting the ball.

The ball flying over.

Knocking the pegs.

Falling to the bottom. Then he removes the pegs the ball hit and does it again. Jordan loved playing the game too.
