Utah Day 4 - Waterfall Hike, BYU, Sunset on Squaw Peak

On Friday, we hiked to a waterfall, ate ice cream at The Creamery at BYU, and drove up to Squaw Peak to watch the sunset.

The hike was hot and dusty. It made me appreciate our forested, not dusty hikes we have in WA :)

We found the falls!

Cooling off in the water.

Candis led some of the kids back through the river for awhile.

Ice cream!

We drove by Grandma and Grandpa Carlson's old house.

And our old house!

Grayson loved doing tricks with Bo.

We played slip n slide kickball.

Sunset at Squaw Peak. It was really pretty!

Jackson peeking out behind us :)

Candis brought a guitar so Jackson could play for us.

The temple lit up!

Grayson was having a lot of fun with Jordan up there. He didn't remember his name though and was trying to get his attention. He yelled, "Hey! Tall dude!" Jordan didn't hear him so yelled "Tall, red dude!"  It was so funny! Jordan started calling him little gray dude.

Grayson loves Minecraft and we found him a Minecraft sword at the thrift store. The only way they could fit it in their stuff was to have it sticking out of their bags :)

We started driving home Saturday afternoon. We finished the drive on Sunday. The Crabtrees were driving to Meridian Idaho at the same time so we saw them on the road and waved!

It was a fun, but short trip!
