Rubik's Cube World Championship

Jordan participated in the Rubik's Cube World Championships that was held in Seattle at the beginning of July. It was 4 full days long and loved competing and seeing the best in the world competing. The rest of us attended some of the days and enjoyed watching it too!
These are the events he competed in.

All signed in and ready to compete!

These 4 and I attended the 1st day. Kenzie and Coleman were a little bored some of the time.

Competing in the 1 handed 3x3! He did great! Although once he accidentally used both hands, but luckily their best and worst solves don't count so it didn't matter:)

Someone brought a map for people to put their name on from where they're from.

We waited in a long line to buy a sweatshirt!

More competing.

There was a flag ceremony and dance show at the end of the first day.

Max Park is one of the most famous cubers! There's a Netflix documentary about him.

The little one in the hat is Teodor. He was super cute and we all loved watching him! He's so fast at cubing!

He's our favorite cuber!

The 4 of us were there the 2nd day. We also brought my friend, Robyn's, friend's  nephew Eliot from California. Jordan loved being able to talk to someone who loves cubing as much as he does and knows about the famous cubers. Eliot didn't compete; he just came up to watch. After that weekend, Jackson has been much more into cubing again and trying to get faster.

On the 3rd day, Jordan and Eliot came up alone. They had lots of fun!

Jordan's times. He had a few personal bests!

These 3 went on Sunday, the last day. They got to see a lot exciting finals! I watched the finals on youtube. After watching so much that weekend, I was invested :) Jordan loved every minute of it and stayed from before it started until it ended. close to 12 hours everyday (except the first day, we went a little late that day because they didn't want everyone showing up at the same time) and never tired of it.
