Coleman turned 8 this year!
First thing he did was open presents!
He got some more dominoes.
And the Farming Game! We play this game at Grandma Dance's house.
Kenzie and Jordan helped him put his dominoes away.
He also got some Heely's. They must be harder than he expected because he hasn't used them since his birthday.
Next we met the Kenyons at Chuck E. Cheese.
Coleman got the unlimited play pass and tried to get the bonus on this game, but wasn't able to. He still ended up with a ton of tickets though.
Coleman was too distracted to take a picture with us. I have several pictures just like this one.
Finally he looked at smiled. 8 years old!
Next he opened his present from the Kenyons.
After Papa John's for lunch we went mini golfing.
After coming home, playing for a little bit, and showering, we went to Coleman's baptism. We baptized him on his birthday, even though it was a Monday because it was the only day my family could be there. My dad left for Europe the Friday after he was baptized and the Kenyons left before he got back.
Coleman wanted Grandpa to baptize him.
Grandpa also confirmed him.
Michelle and Ashlee gave excellent talks. My mom played the piano. Kenzie led the music. Jackson and I said the prayers. Jordan was happy to not do anything :)
Doug snuck Coleman outside after the baptism and took several pictures of him.

Such a handsome boy!
The Riding family minus Sam who had to work.
Next we went to Applebee's so Colie could have his favorite dinner: Mac and Cheese with yogurt and strawberries. Before his birthday he told me we could just have Applebees at home since he thought no one liked it. I assured him we do like it and we'd be happy to go with him. It's funny because last year he was so disappointed that we couldn't go on his birthday because his birthday was on a Sunday :)
Then we came back to our house for his family party. He opened presents from the Crabtrees and Grandma and Grandpa.
He gives great thank you hugs!
He wanted powdered donuts as his treat.
He played The Farming Game with Jordan to end the night.
