Coleman wanted us to decorate all crazy for his birthday. We also put them zig zag going down the stairs so he was able to to go through them in the morning.
Coleman and Jordan with Coleman's birthday note.
Coleman had to wait until after church to open his presents because Doug ended up being sick and was sleeping when we left for church.
Coleman likes to count using sign language on his fingers. He's signing 7.
Another way of making 7.
Opening his card from Grandma Dance.
His presents!
Doug opened his presents next.
Kenzie made him lots of cards.
I love her satisfied face as she watched him open the cards.
Doug didn't want to get the kids sick so he gave them air hugs :)
A Labo Guitar for his switch.
And a labo robot for is switch.
Coleman loves his new overalls! He's been wearing them ever day since he got them, even though it's been in the 70s and 80s.
Overall twins
Coleman didn't want to play with his new toys. He just wanted to play his favorite game, Monopoly.
Doug built his guitar.
We went to Ashlee's house for dinner and treats and presents.
He was hot after jumping on the trampoline in his overalls.
Grandpa opened his Father's Day gift from us, the Crabtrees, and the Kenyons.
He kept jumping when we'd sing "to you!"
They jumped on the trampoline so much! We also played Cover Your Assets, his other favorite game that Grandma and Grandpa Riding gave him for his birthday.
All about Coleman:
He loves when everyone is watching him or listening to him.
He loves talking.
In the car he's often saying "let's talk about something."
He loves science, especially space science, and math.
He is really good at math and loves solving math problems. He can add 2-digit numbers in his head and probably any big numbers on paper. He knows how to figure out multiplication in his head too, and has some facts memorized.
He's getting better at reading, but isn't too confident in reading on his own most of the time.
He says "concluding" instead of "including."
He loves cats (which he calls kitty catties), badgers, and koalas.
He's pretty much always happy.
He loves, loves, loves games.
He's stubborn.
He really loves me, and at night when I put him to bed he often tells me he loves me more than I love him because he wants to sleep with me and I don't want to sleep with him :)
He loves playing games at night when Doug and I lay with him. We'll play 20 questions, the alphabet game (where you pick a category and say something for every letter of the alphabet), guess the number, and would you rather.
When we play 20 questions he almost always picks me as one of the things he thinks. I pick him a lot too :)
He likes to make others happy.
He likes to save his money.
He still loves yogurt and eats it for breakfast and snack before bed everyday.
He loves taking baths.
He's becoming a much stronger swimmer and loves the breaststroke (ever since his teacher said that'd be his stroke because he learned it so quick and does it well)
He recently has decided he doesn't want to be the youngest and wants us to have another baby. Doug doesn't think that's a great idea.
He calls Mackenzie's Activity Days, Activity Club:)
He's a sweet boy and adored by all of us.
We love him so much and are so happy he's in our family!
