Doug worked from home on Monday so we could get a Christmas tree. We went to Coates Tree Farm again. Doug wanted to try a new one, but the kids were excited about the play area and free hot chocolate and we weren't sure the other one would have those things.
Coleman wasn't sure about getting in the sleigh after Doug said the reindeer was going to fly them around. After we assured him that the reindeer really wouldn't move he got in for the picture :)
They all picked their favorite blow up thing to take a picture with:
Jack and I thought this one was funny :)
Even Doug wanted his picture taken with one.
Kenzie liked the really big trees.
We found the perfect one: not too full, not too dead, not too big. Those were our main requirements.
The kids are really into bunny ears.
Doug cut down the tree.
Jordan helped.
And Mackenzie helped. Jackson helped too but he was too quick so I didn't get a picture.
Pulling the tree back to pay for it.
Jackson liked counting the rings on the stumps to see how old the trees were. He said most of them were 7 or 8 years old.
Kenzie was so excited to play.
Jackson just hanging around.
