This year we had the Dance Family Reunion in Southern California. We went to Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point. It was a little rainy in the morning, but was pretty nice by the time we got to the beach. And the weather was pretty perfect the rest of the day. Not too hot and not too cold. This year, Tyler's family, Candis' family, Jason's family, Deveny's family minus David, and Doug's mom were all there. We all had a great time together. I love watching my kids play with their cousins. That evening we went to Irvine Spectrum for dinner and a Ferris Wheel ride.

Tyler and Jason buried Landon in the sand. Then Tyler stuck a bucket over his head and told Jackson (who hadn't seen them burying Landon) to go get the bucket for him. He went and got it. He didn't notice Landon until Landon said "boo!" He was pretty shocked to see a head there. They asked several of the other cousins to do it too. We have a video of Jack's response, but I have to figure out how to edit it to make it shorter before I can post it, if I decided I want to...Coleman got lots of love from Grandma.

At the Irvine Spectrum there's live music and a dance floor. The kids said they wanted to dance so we went over so they could. When we got there, my kids were all too shy to go, but Avery ran out and started dancing by herself. It was really cute :). A little after she went Jordan joined her and then Kenzie and Jackson. A few of the other cousins went out for a little bit too. It was fun watching them all dance. The pictures aren't very good quality because I took them with my new video camera. We didn't know the picture quality wasn't very good until we got home and looked at them. But you can still kind of see what's going on.
I don't have any pictures of the Ferris Wheel, because soon after Doug took the boys to go on it, (Kenzie, Coleman, and I didn't go) Kenzie threw a huge fit. She was crying and throwing herself on the ground and running into the middle of the dance floor and laying down and just very unhappy (remember she was incredibly tired? this was really late for her and she was on day 3 without a good nap). So I strapped her screaming and flailing into the stroller and walked around with my sister in law until she eventually calmed down. She didn't fall asleep though.
We had such a fun time at the reunion. We love getting together with family!
