Sewing Projects

My sister Michelle came in town last weekend for Easter. On Monday she came over and helped me sew a skirt for Kenzie. Here's some pictures of the final project.

She was crawling away from me in anger because she wanted to see the pictures I was taking instead of being in them :)

I really like the way it turned out. I think it's super cute. But now I'm nervous for her to wear it because I don't want her to get it dirty.

A few weeks ago I saw on a blog a tutorial for making a tie so after making the skirt I was feeling motivated to make some matching ties. I worked some last night and some today and finished 3 ties. Here is one of them:

They still need velcro on the neckbands to hold them together.

Don't they look cute together? I plan to make some more ties and skirts and maybe even a dress if the pattern I have doesn't look to complicated. Thanks Shell for helping me and getting me back into sewing!
