Zoo Boo

We went to one of our zoo's Zoo Boo yesterday. The kids wore costumes, did crafts, received candy, and looked at the animals. It was a lot of fun. We were worried because when we driving there it was pouring. Doug said it was flood rain in Las Vegas. The craft stuff was supposed to be inside so we went anyways. It ended up not being too rainy when we were there. Here's the pictures:
Doug and Jackson when we first got there. It was pouring when we were walking in so we needed the umbrella and coats and we were still getting a little wet.

Jordan and Mackenzie both stayed dry in the stroller.

Mackenzie slept the whole time. She was dressed up as a pumpkin and looked very cute.

Jackson colored this bat. Jordan didn't color very long and walked around the aquarium with Doug following him.

Jackson got to bowl. He loves bowling. Usually he just throws/rolls balls to the wall and calls it bowling. He also calls the bowling pins bombs... I'm not really sure why. I think we have a book that has dinosaurs bowling with bombs or something.

Jackson didn't want to wear the costume we got him for halloween this year and chose to wear the Winnie the Pooh costume he wore last year. I hope he'll wear his new one on Halloween. Since he wasn't wearing his real costume I put Jordan in the monkey costume we have. He looked cute in it, even though it was a little small. He's wearing his real cosutme underneath. It's a little small too. His Tigger costume from last year was a little small too. Next year we are buying him one that actually fits.

Jackson got a jelly fish painted on his arm. It wasn't the spray kind that he usually gets and we didn't like it as much. It was wet and smeared easily.

Jordan had a snake painted on his arm. He loved it. Throughout the rest of the day he would try to find it and get frustrated because he couldn't see it. We'd have to show him which arm it was on or pull up his sleeve so he could see it. When he saw it he would get so happy. (I don't know why my pictures keep turning out sideways... I tried to fix it but it didn't work. I guess this is just how blogger thinks the picture should go.)

This is Jack and Jordan with the penguins.

We ate lunch at the zoo.

This peacock came over while we were eating and Jordan threw a huge piece of his sandwich down for it eat. The peacock picked it up right after it hit the ground. He stuck around the rest of lunch time. The boys did not like him being around. Jack kept putting his hand out toward it whenever it would come kind of close and say "go away peacock go away."
