Mama's Helpers

Do anyone else's kids follow them around all the time? Mine want to be doing whatever I'm doing pretty much all the time. Jordan's not too bad. When I'm cooking he doesn't want to help but he's usually in the kitchen pulling out my kitchen tools from the drawer. Jackson always want to sit on the counter and add the ingredients by himself and stir by himself. Even if they're happily playing downstairs and I go upstairs to put the laundry away they follow. I even tell them that's what I'm doing and they still come. Jack wants to help fold the clothes (and he's getting pretty good at it) and Jordan either tries to destroy my piles or plays with toys. So really they just follow me and try to help me no matter what I do. Today I needed to sweep the floor and pulled out the broom and immediatly Jordan started reaching for it and whining. Then him and Jack followed me around the kitchen/bathroom/laundry room floor while I swept. Jack was telling me the places that I missed and Jordan was trying to get the pile of dirt. After I was done I let Jordan have his turn and he was so happy.
Here he is sweeping.

He really does love it. In fact, we have a broom in the garage and when we go out to the car he almost always grabs the broom and starts sweeping the garage.

Jack taking his turn.

Yep...Makenna does the same thing. Most of the day she says "I am the mom...you are the kenna". They just think we are so cool! :) Makenna has started to get annoyed or mad when I start dinner without her help. Gotta love it!

That last picture of Jordan is the cutest/funniest picture ever. I love it!

My kids don't do that very often. Sounds like your little guys will be great helpers!
