Fun in the sun

Last week was very warm from Thursday on. So we had to enjoy the sunny weather and spend the days outside. On Friday we went to the beach. Jack loved it. It was his first time going to the beach (I don't know why we didn't ever go last year). On the way there he kept saying "mama?" and I would say "yes?" and he would say "beach!" He did this almost every few minutes until we got there. He loved playing in the sand. The water was freezing cold so he didn't go in the lake. But he found some muddy water little-lakes next to the real lake and enjoyed playing and sitting in that water. He was really sad when we had to leave. On Friday we spent the morning in our little backyard. We filled up his pool and he went swimming. He loves swimming. He asked Sunday and Monday if he could go swimming and was very sad both days when I told him know... Hopefully it will be a warm summer so he can get a lot of swimming in. We recently bought this baby bed for Jordan from someone on Craigslist. It was perfect for the beach. It has a net covering and folds up so it's easy to carry and fits between the boys' seats in their stroller. It was a great purchase!

Alli, Gavin (Doug's cousin's son... His mom (Doug's cousin) is also really good friends with my sister. That's actually how we met them. Doug has more than a hundred cousins so he doesn't really know them all... or even most of them), and Jackson throwing sand in to the water.
Jordan fell asleep in his baby bed. He needed blanket because it was a little cold in the shade with the wind blowing.
