Mariners Game

We went to the Mariners' game with my parents and Ashlee's family a couple weeks ago. Although there are only pictures of Coleman, the other kids were there too :) Jackson and Jordan spent most of the game sitting by my parents in their seats in the front row. Kenzie sat there some of the time too. They all love sitting down there. I think the highlight of the game for the kids though is when grandpa takes them all out to get a treat after or during the 5th inning. Jackson and Jordan were talking about what they wanted to get the day before we went. Most of the kids get cotton candy, but since Jordan didn't like it until recently, he doesn't ever want it. This time he got Dippin Dots but ended up eating a lot of Kenzie's cotton candy while she ate his Dippin Dots. Thanks mom and dad for getting us tickets and buying the kids treats! :)

I made this shirt for Colman from one of my old shirts. It was supposed to be a romper, but it ended up being way too small so I had to cut off the bottom part that would have made the legs and just made it into a shirt instead. It's still pretty small. But I still thought he looked pretty cute in it.

I especially liked that there's a number on the back. I had to cut the neck hole so that it would fit over his head...

Coleman spent most of the game in the baby carrier. It's much easier than just holding him. He doesn't expect to get down when he's in it.

He kept laying down on my leg.

When Grandma came up from her seats to see us Coleman had to go see her. He loves her so much.

This one is blurry but I love how happy they both are in it.

A few more things about the game:
Coleman ate Kix throughout a lot of the game. That's what kept him happy throughout it.
When we were walking in a lady commented on how we have a lot of little kids and asked how long we thought we'd be saying. She was surprised to find out that we've made it through the entire game before.
When Jordan was sitting down by my parents he looked up at us and saw me looking at him and he yelled "I love you!" I smiled at him, but didn't say anything. He yelled out to me again "I love you!" So I mouthed "I love you" to him and that made him happy. :)

Jackson's Pictures

Jackson posed and took all these pictures:

Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease

You can kind of see the red splotches on Jordan's legs and hands.

Whenever Kenzie sees a baby bottle that's not Coleman's bottle she wants to fill it up with water and drink from it.

It's hard to see, but Coleman has red sores on his face...

Grandpa Riding's Birthday

It was my dad's birthday at the end of May. We went out to eat with him, my mom, and the Crabtrees. Doug didn't come though because he was sick.

Kenzie being Kenzie :)

The group.

The waitress noticed it was his birthday so she arranged for the other waiters and waitresses to come sing to him. We all enjoyed watching it :)

Sunriver Oregon

We went with my parents to Sunriver, Oregon for Memorial day weekend. They rented a condo for us to all stay at. We all had so much fun. It was pretty cold while we there. It had snowed 3 inches the night before we arrived and was in the 50s I think while we were there. It would have been even more fun to go when it was hot and I think I'd like to go back when it's hot because there's a little water park there that looked pretty fun. But we had a lot of fun hanging out at the house and going on walks and bike rides. Doug and my dad also had fun golfing. My dad even went golfing early Monday morning when it was in the 30s I think. Doug skipped out on that one to help me with getting packed since we had to leave by 11. And we had sick kids.

Jordan loved eating at the counter.

We played a lot of games and my mom and I did a couple puzzles.

Coleman crawled around and stood up on things. We had to block the game Jackson and my mom were playing from him. :)

Jackson, Kenzie, Jordan. There was a hot tub at our condo. We had brought our swim suits to use at an indoor pool, but then we didn't really have time to swim, except during nap time, when Doug and my dad were golifing, and Doug had his car keys and mine were at home so we had no car to drive to the pool. I told the boys we could swim if the water wasn't too hot or too cold.  After Kenzie woke up (I made the boys wait since her bed was right by the hot tub) we went in the hot tub.

At first just the kids were going to go in. But I put sat on the edge and put my feet in and it was so nice and warm so I decided to go in too.

There aren't any pictures of me in it, but we had a great time playing. We were in there for a pretty long time. Kenzie didn't last as long as the boys and me, so she went inside with grandma and Colie.

We played lots of games in there like: who can keep their knees above the water the longest and the quiet game. They wanted the play the loudest game, but I don't them that wasn't a good idea since we did have neighbors.

Kenzie had hand, foot, and mouth disease, which was another reason that we didn't want to take her into the indoor swimming pool. But she probably gave it to the boys while we were swimming.

Jackson loved playing with my dad all weekend. They played chess a lot, did some tickling, played other games, and rode bikes. My dad took off Jackson's training wheels of his bike and helped Jack start learning how to ride it without them. I was inside when he did this and Jackson came running in so excited that he went 10 feet (or something like that)! He wanted me to come out and watch him. I grabbed my cameras and went out. He rode one time when I was out there and then was ready to be done. I convinced him to ride more so I could get some pictures and videos of him. He obliged and got on his bike again.

He was worried and nervous the whole time.

He didn't like when my dad let go, and hasn't rode his bike since. (It doesn't help that's it's been pretty rainy and cold since we got back)

Kenzie was pretty whiney this trip. And she cried a lot. She doesn't like being sick. And he mouth her when she would eat most of the time. And she wasn't sleeping as much as normal.

 Coleman and grandma.

Coleman had his first waffle while we were there. A big milestone in our family. He didn't eat much of it. I'm not sure I want him to be a big waffle eater. I already have to buy 4 boxes from Sam's Club each month for the rest of us. And we have a lot of oatmeal left from when Kenzie stopped eating it every day.

Kenzie was sick (the most) on Friday and Saturday. Jordan had a high fever on Sunday, Jackson had one Monday. Jackson is a little like Kenzie... He hate being sick and is a bit more dramatic and sad about it. He doesn't really whine though.

Jordan's sick face (although he was feeling better by Monday). He's mostly the same when he's sick. Maybe even less whiney. He just has no energy when he's sick and wants to cuddle. He even took a nap for a couple hours.

This must have been the face Kenzie did when I asked for her sick face. Funny how when I tell her to smile she likes to make a grumpy or sad face, and when I ask her to make a sick face she smiles.

Thanks mom and dad for letting us come!

Haircuts for 2 boys and a girl

Before:
Jordan's hair was getting long and crazy. It had been a pretty long time since we cut it.

Jackson's wasn't too long. But we always cut his when we cut Jordan's. Plus we had to get him read for summer!

This is in the middle of Jordan's haircut. We had him look in the mirror to see if he liked it and he said he looked like Konrad :)

This is a view I see often. Especially when I'm trying to cook or clean up. Kenzie loves to be held. And easily wins me over by saying "I need you" :)

After:

Little miss Mackenzie's hair was also getting long and stringy at the bottom and really needed to be cut. But I've been too nervous (and lazy) to take her  somewhere. And I didn't want to cut it myself. I didn't think that would turn out to well and she'd probably end up with really short hair as I kept trying to even it out... But one afternoon my sister was over and she reminded me that she cuts her her own girls' hair most of the time and she offered to cut Kenzie's when she got up from her nap. I was more sentimental with her getting her hair cut because she has never had her hair cut. Those ends that we were cutting off have been there since she was born. But it needed to be done, so I had Ashlee do it.

Before:

Kenzie did really good. She sat still and didn't cry. It probably helped that she was watching Dora for the first time in a few weeks.

After:

Isn't she so cute? Ashlee did an awesome job on it. Thanks Ash!
