We went with my parents to Sunriver, Oregon for Memorial day weekend. They rented a condo for us to all stay at. We all had so much fun. It was pretty cold while we there. It had snowed 3 inches the night before we arrived and was in the 50s I think while we were there. It would have been even more fun to go when it was hot and I think I'd like to go back when it's hot because there's a little water park there that looked pretty fun. But we had a lot of fun hanging out at the house and going on walks and bike rides. Doug and my dad also had fun golfing. My dad even went golfing early Monday morning when it was in the 30s I think. Doug skipped out on that one to help me with getting packed since we had to leave by 11. And we had sick kids.

Jordan loved eating at the counter.
We played a lot of games and my mom and I did a couple puzzles.
Coleman crawled around and stood up on things. We had to block the game Jackson and my mom were playing from him. :)
Jackson, Kenzie, Jordan. There was a hot tub at our condo. We had brought our swim suits to use at an indoor pool, but then we didn't really have time to swim, except during nap time, when Doug and my dad were golifing, and Doug had his car keys and mine were at home so we had no car to drive to the pool. I told the boys we could swim if the water wasn't too hot or too cold. After Kenzie woke up (I made the boys wait since her bed was right by the hot tub) we went in the hot tub.
At first just the kids were going to go in. But I put sat on the edge and put my feet in and it was so nice and warm so I decided to go in too.
There aren't any pictures of me in it, but we had a great time playing. We were in there for a pretty long time. Kenzie didn't last as long as the boys and me, so she went inside with grandma and Colie.
We played lots of games in there like: who can keep their knees above the water the longest and the quiet game. They wanted the play the loudest game, but I don't them that wasn't a good idea since we did have neighbors.
Kenzie had hand, foot, and mouth disease, which was another reason that we didn't want to take her into the indoor swimming pool. But she probably gave it to the boys while we were swimming.
Jackson loved playing with my dad all weekend. They played chess a lot, did some tickling, played other games, and rode bikes. My dad took off Jackson's training wheels of his bike and helped Jack start learning how to ride it without them. I was inside when he did this and Jackson came running in so excited that he went 10 feet (or something like that)! He wanted me to come out and watch him. I grabbed my cameras and went out. He rode one time when I was out there and then was ready to be done. I convinced him to ride more so I could get some pictures and videos of him. He obliged and got on his bike again.
He was worried and nervous the whole time.
He didn't like when my dad let go, and hasn't rode his bike since. (It doesn't help that's it's been pretty rainy and cold since we got back)
Kenzie was pretty whiney this trip. And she cried a lot. She doesn't like being sick. And he mouth her when she would eat most of the time. And she wasn't sleeping as much as normal.
Coleman and grandma.
Coleman had his first waffle while we were there. A big milestone in our family. He didn't eat much of it. I'm not sure I want him to be a big waffle eater. I already have to buy 4 boxes from Sam's Club each month for the rest of us. And we have a lot of oatmeal left from when Kenzie stopped eating it every day.
Kenzie was sick (the most) on Friday and Saturday. Jordan had a high fever on Sunday, Jackson had one Monday. Jackson is a little like Kenzie... He hate being sick and is a bit more dramatic and sad about it. He doesn't really whine though.
Jordan's sick face (although he was feeling better by Monday). He's mostly the same when he's sick. Maybe even less whiney. He just has no energy when he's sick and wants to cuddle. He even took a nap for a couple hours.
This must have been the face Kenzie did when I asked for her sick face. Funny how when I tell her to smile she likes to make a grumpy or sad face, and when I ask her to make a sick face she smiles.
Thanks mom and dad for letting us come!
