Dance Family Reunion

We hosted the family reunion at Anderson Lodge this year. We were supposed to host in 2020, but had to cancel that year and the year after because there were still too many restrictions in WA to have such a large gathering. But we were excited to finally be in charge this year. The location worked great and the weather turned out perfect (a week before we were still wearing winter coats, so were worried it would still be cold, but it was in the 70s all week) Everyone seemed to have a great time. The Dances are all so nice. Everyone always says how great everything is. :)
We packed the car tight to fit everything in. Jackson was squished in the back next to the blue suitcase.

The kids played lots of soccer and badminton.

We made cards for Landon and Anna who are serving missions.

The kids played video games.

We went on a nature walk.

We played pool, ping pong, and foosball in the game room.

Jackson set up a Kubb tournament.

X, Carinn, and Doug won the tournament.

Alyssa found some snake skin.

Shantel, Jason, Deveny, Candis, Shawnee roasting marshmallows.

We also hiked the Ape Caves.

We all started at the same place, and then split into two groups. The group that wanted to the harder, longer trail, and the group that wanted the shorter, easier one.

It was so much fun spending several day with everyone there! I love how everyone gets along so well the whole time and just enjoys being together. The kids always jump right into playing and aways include everyone. We love Dance Family Reunions! We missed everyone who couldn't make it though!
