Doug went to New York for a week for work. He had a good time, but thought New York was too crowded and dirty. Unlike most of his work trips he takes he actually had time to sight see this time.
He got in late Sunday night. On his way to the hotel he saw an Applebees and took a picture of it for Coleman.
Monday after work he went to the Nintendo store.
He saw the Empire State Building.
And a police man on a horse.
He ate pizza at the first pizza place in New York City.
He went to Times Square.
He didn't stay very long because it was so crowded.
He went to the Museum of Natural History.
He also went to a planetarium and saw a show he thought was fantastic.
He went to Central Park.
He went to an Art Museum. A guy on the subway heard him say to his friend that he might go to the museum and the guy said he a ticket to get in for free and gave it to Doug.
Doug was glad it was free because he wasn't very impressed. I wasn't surprised he wasn't impressed because he's not really an art museum kind of person.
Some musicians.
He rode a ferry to see the Statue of Liberty on his last day.
Looking back at the city.
New Jersey on the left, New York on the right.
The Statue of Liberty. Doug thought it was smaller than he expected.
The city on the way back.
He also stopped by Wall Street.
He had a great time, but was happy to come home to us:)
