Doug's Birthday!

Doug turned 34! We had a great day celebrating him.
He likes us to use the brown paper that sometimes comes in our Amazon packages so I always save some throughout the year to use for his birthday.

It was too bright to get good pictures when he sat in the chair.

So he moved to the couch.

A hedge trimmer!

A shower mirror for shaving!

Coleman kept blocking my view.

Snow pants!

He was surprised to get this one...

A Nintendo Switch!

It was ridiculously hard to find. They were sold out everywhere! But I signed up for an email alert when they became available, and once I received an alert, I bought it immediately.

We hike Snoqualmie Falls.

This poor kid wasn't feeling super well :( But he was a trooper and hiked it all anyway.

Jackson needed to hike and do service for scouts so we picked up trash while we hiked.

All of us!

After hiking we went back to the house. Doug played his switch until we went to The Rock with my parents. Jackson and Jordan stayed home since Jordan wasn't feeling well. We didn't want to leave Jordan home alone, he's not quite old enough. Jackson was fine staying with him because then he was able to play his favorite Wii game, Tecmo Superbowl, while we were away.

Then we sang happy birthday. He had Babe Ruth bars as his dessert. We put the 7 candle, plus 27 single candles on the Babe Ruth bars.

Then we watched the final NCAA game. We let Jack stay up and watch it because he loves sports.

They were sad because they wanted Gonzaga to win. I was happy because I wanted UNC to win. I had the winning bracket this year! With my win I get to choose 2 movies for movie night, even if no on else wants to watch it. Jackson really didn't want me to win because, apparently, he doesn't like my movie choices.

Jackson was having a hard time frowning.

He just couldn't stop smiling :)

We love Doug so much and think he is wonderful husband and father!
