We went on a tour at the Wild Horse Wind and Solar Energy plant.
Doug took the day off to come with us.
The solar panels.
One of the turbine blades. It was huge! Way bigger than they look up in the air.
The blades are flexible so they won't snap in the wind.
The turbines are so big up close.
We went inside one of the turbines. The kids were all a little nervous that we would have to climb the gigantic ladder up to the top.
After eating some Thai food for lunch we went to Lake Easton State Park. It was really pretty!
Jordan and Coleman
This boy just wanted to go home.
Doug is master rock skipper. He was teaching the kids his snacks.
