The Move

We moved the second weekend of November. We got the keys on the 7th I think and Doug started moving boxes over in the evenings and then we did the big move on Friday with the help of family and our neighbor. We are so grateful for everyone's help! The best part of the weekend was that my sister Michelle surprised us all and showed up at my new house Friday night when we were moving everything in. I was so excited to see her! I couldn't believe she was really here. She came all the way from Texas. It was a great surprise! Thanks for coming Shell! Come surprise again anytime! :) I didn't get any  pictures during the move or of Michelle because I wasn't sure where my camera was.  Here's a few pictures of us in the new house a little while after we moved in.

Coleman checking out our emergency kits. I figured it was time to update them since my kids have grown since last year when I put clothes in the kits for them :)

Kenzie twirling. I love our floor.  We have to vacuum or sweep it daily. It kind of grosses me out though because we had carpet under our table in our last house and all those crumbs just went in the carpet. And we didn't vacuum daily there. We couldn't see the crumbs as much then.

Jordan and Coleman playing in the basement. Coleman loves this track. And he loves the basement. But he doesn't want to go down there by himself. So he'll cry and whine and point over to the stairs hoping someone will go down there with him. Then he gets so excited and laughs and squeals when someone does go down there.

He's great at getting the cars putting them in the slots and then pulling the lever so they zoom down the ramp.

We got a big cube shelf from Ikea that we love. It hold so much. We keep a majority of our toys downstairs so it's great at keeping things more organized. We found some great bins at Target that fit in these cube. They're half and quarter size bins so we can fit 2-4 bins in each cube. The blackish grey bins with circles in the above picture are the half sized bins. They have lids on them too. They are great!

Jack in the basement bathroom.

He's walking all the time now.

except when he see's the camera. Then he sits down and smiles.

so cute :)
