August Photo Dump

We've got a lot of cereal! (as of now, when I'm writing this, at the end of October, we new only have about 5 boxes of Rice Chex left. We've had to make lots and lots of muddy buddies before the cereal expires.)

Kenzie and I were looking for a pink dress for her to wear to Kimber's wedding, and I told her she should get this one. Surprisingly, she didn't choose it.

Playing at our church one last time before we had to switch buildings.

Our old church building. Now we meet at the stake center.

Coleman and I went to Felix Hernadez's Hall of Fame night.

Doug's been learning to play Canon.

Coleman's been learning lots of magic tricks!

Jordan getting the most out of his video game time. Playing on his phone, his upper screen, and watching youtube on the lower screen.

Kenzie made a QR code for her birthday list. Then she printed out a lot and put them all over the house. Including in my closet.

I took Coleman to the doctor to get a sports physical.

Kenzie had her friends over for a trampoline sleep over. She hung up sheets and used lots of blankets and pillows to make it comfortable. Lorelei brought some lights for them to hang up.

Hanging out in the morning.

Jordan's rubik's cube shelves.

We like to take lots of selfies :)

I came home to find Coleman doing a magic show for these three. I watched the end of it. He did great!

Moses Lake Temple Open House

The kids and I went with my parents, Ash, Cam, and Aunts Sue and Nancy to the Moses Lake Temple open house. It was cool to let kids see more of the inside of the temple. It's also a much smaller temple than the Seattle one, so I liked seeing the differences between the two.
We stopped at Burger King on our way.

I was fun bringing friends with us!

Kenzie thought it was too cold to swim on our last day so she read on the lawn chair the whole time.

It really was so cold! Jordan and I were riding slides together and decided to go in the hot tub. On our way there we walked through the wave pool and we were so cold, that it felt hot. We warmed up in there for a bit before going in the hot tub.

Flag Football

Coleman had fun the rest of his flag football season.
One game the sprinklers came on and know one could turn them off. After a 20 minute delay, they finally had Coleman's team move to the other field.

After the last game, they had a parent vs. kid game. It was awhile after the game ended so most of the kids and families left. There were 5 or 6 kids against Doug, Jackson, Coach Zach, and two other dads. I think the game ended as a tie. It was fun to watch :)

Ocean Shores

The young women went to Ocean Shores for a day trip! We had so much fun and had great weather (especially since  it was in the high 90s at home)!
We parked right on the beach. After we'd been there for a little bit we noticed the tide was coming in. We decided I should move my van, but it sunk into the sand. The other leader with me, Heather, said she's been coming here for many, many years and she's never had a car get stuck. But she knew a trick to put car mats behind the wheels and then back up onto them. So we did that and I was able to get onto the firmer sand and drive off to the side of the road, which wasn't too far of a walk away.

Kenzie and Paisley. The girls spent lots of the time playing in the sand.

Delaynie. We had her move soon after this picture because she was too close to where cars drive and we didn't want her to get run over.

And bringing it up to the sand.

All of us!

The other girls buried Morgan. A little friend joined in on the fun and wanted to be in the picture :)

Sand monster Morgan

Once we were done on the beach we got some ice cream and walked around the shops.

Alligator Santa was pretty weird.

After shopping, we went out for dinner. We tried a pizza place that the Perkes eat at a lot when they come, but it's closed on Mondays. So we tried a fish 'n chips place, but it was soo crowded. Then we tried another fish 'n chips place, but it was closed. So we ended up at McDonald's. Kenzie was really happy we went there:)
