Easter Fun

Kenzie and Eden helped cut and then frost Easter cookies.

And we colored Easter eggs:

Our friends, the Wilsons, invited us (and a bunch of other families) over for a big Easter egg hunt in their huge property. I think there were over 20 kids searching for eggs. Each family donated 30 filled eggs that Christina hid earlier in the day. The kids all came home with around 30 eggs. It was so fun!
Kenzie and Jenna with the eggs the day before.

Coleman is in the red.

Kenzie and Taryn hunted together a lot.

Coleman again.

Jordan

Jackson as the yellowish green sleeves.

End of March

Jordan has been anxiously waiting the time he could sit in the front seat. He loves sitting in it and always tried to beat Jackson there. Jackson prefers the back so it's not much of a race :)

It hard to tell but he had his two teeth next to his top front teeth extended. The orthodontist added some fake teeth to them so they're the same size as the rest. It looks great! Jordan and I had both been wondering why his teeth had been getting more spread out since getting braces. Apparently they were doing that so they'd have room to add onto those two teeth.

My kids accidentally stole their friends' grandma's boots. They brought hers home instead of ours. My friend texted and asked if we had them here. I was sure what ours looked like so I sent a picture of these since they were the right size and the grandma said they were hers. Oops! :)

We celebrated Jordan's birthday at Ashlee's. She made a yummy peanut butter chocolate dessert.

Harry Potter came to school one day!

Evidence that Jordan is taller than me!

We played at the park while Jackson was having a conditioning practice before high school soccer tryouts.

Folsom

We stopped at Tyler's house on the way home again. We did the drive to there house in one very long day, so we had one full day to spend with them. We did a lot in the one day we had!
We watched Lila play soccer. It was so fun to be at a soccer game again.

We went to a lake that's mostly dry this time of year. We looked for fool's gold, rocks, and shells.

Kenzie found a bunch.

It was a beautiful day.

There was lots of rock throwing and rock skipping happening.

Lila and Kenzie

We ate dinner at the park and played bocce ball.

We ended the night playing ping pong and darts. We had a tournament for both and I won the darts one! It must have been beginner's luck because I haven't played darts in a long time and was sure I'd get out in the first round.

Doug and Lila

The next morning Kenzie was super excited to ride this little scooter around.

We drove home in one day too, and it was a much better drive than the one to Tyler's house. It was nice to get home! (although very, very cold)

The mail people left this on our porch because we had so much mail!

Arizona Final Week

Saturday we woke up and went to the painting party at my parents' old house. It was a great time.

Kenna stayed an extra week with us! We loved being able to see for a whole week more! She was a great help with painting, such a hard worker!

Kenzie blowing the leaves.

We had a few mishaps where kids painted places they weren't supposed to so we had to paint more than was originally planned.

After lunch with Doug's brother Jason and his family who were in town getting their rental house here ready to sale, and after a little more work at the old house, we had a pool party!

It was a hot day, and even I got in. But the water was cold if you weren't actively swimming so we didn't last too long in the water. Longer than before though.

Kenzie facetimed Nati.

We went to Nancy's again for more yummy smores and outside games. The kids and Doug and my dad played an ultimate frisbee/lacrosse type game.

Our last day we helped my dad switch out the sinks.

I guess I didn't get a picture of the new sink, but it looks great!

Playing games!

It was such a fun trip! We loved being with family and escaping the cold/rainy Washington winter for awhile.

Arizona Week 4- With the Kenyons!

We had such a fun week with the Kenyons! We always love every minute we get to spend with them.
They were recently certified to become foster parents and had their first kids staying with them. Last minute they were able to get permission to bring the little girls with them. They're so cute and I'm so glad we were able to spend the week with them!

They really loved Doug. When the Kenyons got them they only could speak Spanish. They had learned some English, but they loved being able to speak Spanish with Doug and Doug loved speaking it with them. They called him Pato because Pato means duck in Spanish, and his name sounds like duck. Once they understood his name wasn't actually duck (or Pato) they would try to think of his real name and sometimes couldn't come up with that and would just call him quack quack :)

We all went to the Mariners' game. We walked to In and Out for lunch before.

Nati's frozen water bottle broke so she peeled it off and was just licking it like a popsicle. (I can't have pictures of the little girls' faces on here so I have to cover them up...  I would have like to put a nice smiley face over them, but I don't know how, so the yellow splotch will have to do :))

Jordan, Kenna, Coleman, Jack

Nati got her ice completely out of the plastic.

She put sunscreen on his face.

Nati doing a cartwheel. She lost her shoe in the process.

Grandpa came and took them to get a treat.

Snowcones!

Dip 'n dots.

Coleman had started pulling out his hair during his stressful chess matches with Grandpa. He looked like he was going bald.

So we gave him a haircut.

And his hair looks much better. And now it's growing in nicely.

Doug was cold so he wrapped up in blanket for work.

Michelle got the teenagers to help build my parents' outside table.

We took these two shopping to get some matching clothes. They came away with a lot of cute outfits!

We went to Nancy's again for smores. Yummy!

Shell, Grandma, and I took the kids to the zoo. I was able to get everyone in half off with my zoo membership! We saved over $90!

Nati and Kenzie

Colie boy.

It was especially fun to bring little kids to the zoo and see their excitement for the animals.

Kenzie did some pull ups, but my camera took the picture too slow and she had already dropped by the time the picture was taken.

Coleman likes getting his picture taken.

We got shave ice and smoothies on our way home. Coleman loved his smoothie!

Coleman made a lot of towers out of cards.

These 3 made some slime.

Coleman also played some of his own games with the cards.

We watched March Madness.

And finally were able to swim in the pool! The weather wasn't hot enough most of time. Plus the pool was a bit cold.

Coleman tried to pull Jackson in.

He finally succeeded:)

After they were too cold to swim in the water, they warmed up on the ground and played Mafia.

The little girls woke up from their nap and came out to swim.

Doug finished working and he got in too.

He didn't last long :)

On their last night together, Kenzie and Nati showed us several dances they'd made up this week. They spent lots and lots of time practicing.

Lots and lots of games happened, especially Hearts.

Last night together :( It always goes so fast.
