For the boys' last practice they played against each other. Their coaches were friends, so even though they were in different age groups they wanted the teams to play together. It was a very slow moving game for the first inning because they did kid pitch. But then they switched to coach pitch and it was much better :)
Jordan
Jackson
Coleman
Even though the last day of games was on July 1st, it was a bit chilly. We were all wearing jackets and Coleman even wore his coat.
Kenzie and Jordan
Jordan kept score for some of the game.
Jackson catching.
Jackson batting. This was the first time I saw him bat right handed this year. I think he did bat right handed one other time, when I was garage sale shopping at Lakeland Hills.
Jackson getting his trophy. His coach told us that Jackson is a natural when it comes to catching. He knew what to do without having to be told. He told Jack to keep on catching. Jackson loves it so I'm sure he will.
Jackson's team.
Jordan.
Jack loved keeping score at every game.
Jordan getting his award. He was the first one called up so I was a little late getting the picture. His coach said he was quiet at the beginning of the season and the coach wasn't sure what to expect from him, but that he turned out to be a solid player. Jordan loves playing short stop and second base. Baseball is still his favorite sport to play.
