Easter!

We had a great Easter! We missed having Doug with us, but were able to still have fun.
The kids searched for eggs and baskets.

He was the first to find his basket!

Jordan found his next, with the help of a hint from Kenzie. he had wrote a note to the Easter Bunny to hide it really well. It was hidden behind the brick blocks on the shelf. It was very hard to see :)

He was excited to get a football.

Kenzie finally found hers with a little help from Jackson. She was sad that it was taking so long to find it :) She loved her new soccer ball!

Jackson couldn't find his basket anywhere.

Jackson wanted everyone to help him.

We played the hot and cold game until they finally found it hidden inside the blocks.

This disk ball (I think that's what he calls it) is his second favorite ball (after his football.)

We decorated the Easter cookies.

We went to my parents house for a delicious dinner and the big Easter egg hunt.

These 2 hunted together most of the time. They are such cute friends.

When most of the eggs have been found the kids start to follow grandpa while he helps them find the remaining eggs.

Ashlee kept track of the total eggs found on her phone this year.

Coleman lined all his money up. He was just going to count them each as one until I reminded his they are worth different things. We worked together to count it all. He loves math and numbers and does pretty well with adding.

The night ended with some very entertaining wrestling.

Kenzie and Alli wrestled too, but they were done by the time I grabbed my camera. Neither won (or maybe Alli did, since Kenzie didn't want to do it anymore.)

The kids had lot of wrestling and the rest of us enjoyed watching :)

It was a great Easter!

Easter Eggs and Cookies

Kenzie and I made Easter sugar cookies on Easter Eve.

Then we dyed eggs. Doug left us for Moldova so he wasn't able to color them with us.

Easter Egg Hunt

Ashlee organized her annual Easter Egg hunt. Coleman skipped soccer practice so we could go. We had a great time!

As Coleman opened his eggs he gave away his candy to whoever said they wanted it first.
