Amazon Family Party

We went to Doug's work party earlier this month. We had a great time!

We like to do face painting first before the lines get too long.

Jack was excited to have the best hamburgers in the world again. Although I think he decided they weren't as good as he remembered them being.

Mackenzie and Coleman loved watching and dancing with this lady.

The kids all made spin art frisbees. 

We played soccer outside for a little bit.

Kenzie loved playing soccer.

She was even on the big screen a few times while playing. She loved seeing herself up there.

We watched a crazy pogo stick show.

Kenzie thought it was way too loud.

We also watched some extreme trampoline jumping.

This guy was Kenzie's favorite.

We've had lots of colder days at Wild Waves this year.

Kenzie loves putting make up on, especially this blue eye shadow.

Jordan sewed a pencil pouch for our road trip to California. I made them for the other 3 kids. They worked much better then the plastic things the colored pencils came in.

Jack built the Eiffel tower out of Knex, 

We've been doing science on Tuesdays. We made a paper mache volcano and after it dried we made it explode.

Our San Clemente House

The kitchen.

I made the kids duffle bags for the trip. I wanted them to each have their own bag to keep their clothes so they don't get all mixed up. But I didn't want them to each have a suitcase that would take up a lot of room. These worked out perfectly. When Michelle was in town she helped me cut all the fabric and do some of the sewing. It was nice to have her help!

Dance Family Reunion

The next two days of our vacation were spent with Doug's family for their reunion. We went to Crystal Cove for the first day. It was a fun beach!

Jason's family brought a skim board. Jackson and Jordan loved it so much that Jason's family insisted we keep it.

Grandma Dance broke her wrist a couple weeks before the reunion. We are so happy she was able to come anyway!

The next day we went to Newport Beach. It was a cloudy day and really foggy when we got there. I loved the clouds all day. It kept it from being too hot :)

After the beach we all went to dinner at the Irvine Spectrum.

It was a fun reunion but we wished we would have had more time with everyone! Brian's family and Darrin's family weren't able to make it this year. We hope to see them next year!
