We had such a fun Christmas! Every Christmas is fun, but this one was especially great. The kids were so excited. Jackson came in our room at 7, then saw that Doug and I were sleeping (although I was really awake, I was just wishing I was sleeping :)) and went to wake Jordan up to see if they were supposed to wake us up. They came in and watched Christmas clips about Jesus while we waited for Kenzie, who came in around 7:30. We read the Christmas story from the Bible. Then we all went in to get Colie up at 8. He was awake so we opened the door and jumped in his room and said Merry Christmas! He was so excited. Then Doug and I went downstairs and called the kids down, youngest to oldest (Jackson wanted to switch it up this year so he could go first, but we said no:)) The kids were so excited to see their presents. They were a little more spoiled than normal this year...

Jack didn't notice his baseball game at first. He was really excited when I pointed it out to him.
Everyone else wanted to check it out too.
Kenzie was so excited to get her Frozen art kit from Jordan.
She was even more excited to get her Fur Real puppy. It's what she wanted most.
Jack was also excited to get some basketball shoes and a basketball.
Colie loves his Mickey Mouse table. He and Kenzie love to eat their meals at it now :)
Jordan really wanted gumballs and was happy to see that he did get some.

I'm happy I captured the moment he realized he got his giant telescope. He was pretty sure he wasn't getting one. I didn't wrap the whole thing because that would have given it away. Because it really is gigantic.
He was just a little happy about it.

The after Christmas mess. It was kind of crazy in there...
Kenzie got some fake fingernails, which she was excited about until she put them on. It was too hard to do anything with her hands when they were on and she wanted them off pretty quickly.
We had to charge the camera up before we could open the family present. We knew the kids were going to have a good reaction when they saw it and we didn't want to miss recording it :)
They opened the big box first, Inside was another kind of big box and 7 small presents. They each got to open 2 of them.
Colie opened the first one. They were so excited when they saw that it was a Wii U. Jack's face says it all. He couldn't believe it.
He was so excited. About as excited as Doug was to get his giant telescope :)
Jackson started jumping up and down yelling "Wii U! Wii U!"
Then they opened the other presents which were games. When there were done Jackson said "This is the best day ever!" and "I can't believe this is happening!"
After playing with the new toys for awhile we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Jordan got some new stilts that he loves and he wanted to bring those. Coleman wanted to bring his new Mickey Mouse chair. He was so tired he fell asleep on the way there.

We spent the rest of the day playing games and enjoying each other's company :)
