We went to Fox Hollow Farm after everyone else went back to school. The kids loved it! We were there for about 5 hours and they could have stayed 5 hours more probably :)
They played in the hay and corn box:
Jackson swinging
Kenzie is swinging while Jordan waits for his turn.
Coleman wanted me to take a picture of him jumping in.
Jack buried himself.
Jack and Colie played at the play housed together.
A lot of the girls (maybe all of them) in our group and a couple boys sat up on the little deck most of the time we were at the play houses. Kenzie sat up with them too. She said they were just eating play food, but not really playing house or anything.
I asked her if she talked to the other girls, and she said no. She didn't even smile much when she up there, but she said she had fun. She's usually pretty shy.
We went back up to the hay/corn box area and the kids were able to go in the cages with the kittens and hold them. Jackson, Kenzie, and Coleman went it. Jordan didn't want to. Kenzie and Jack loved holding the kitties.
Coleman just sat on a chair the whole time. I was surprised he went in the cage; he doesn't like animals. Maybe he thought he had to go in.
We found a bunny on the way to the car and Kenzie stopped to pet it.
On our way home we had to make a stop at the ENT to get a piece of corn out of Coleman's ear. I'm not sure exactly how it got in there. He's never put anything in his ear before, so I'm thinking it had to be an accident. He came up to me that morning and said he had corn in his ear. I didn't believe him, but after he came back a little later he told me again it was in there I looked in his ear and there it was. My friend told me to just go to the Ear, Nose, Throat Doctor right away because anyone else might make it go in further and then they'd have to do surgery to get it out. That had happened to her friend's kid. I called the ENT after it happened and they said it wasn't an emergency and we made an appointment for later that day. As we were getting in the car to leave Fox Hollow Farm I asked Coleman if he did put the corn in his ear and he said "I'm so sorry." :) He's never said that before and it was so cute how he said it. Anytime I would ask him why he put the corn in or if he did put the corn in he would say the same thing.

He did awesome at the doctor. He held really still and didn't cry or anything. I was pretty surprised. And I was surprised how easily the corn came out. The doctor said it was a good thing that no one else tried to get it out :)
This was the ear with the corn.
While we were in the waiting room at the doctor's office we received a lot of attention from the other people in there. There was an older couple and 2 women in there with us. The wife asked if they were all mine and told me I didn't look old enough to have that many kids. After talking with her husband she asked how old I was. Then she said something about me getting it over with when I was young. The other women asked how old the kids were. There may have been other questions too. The wife said that the kids were so well behaved that I must beat them daily. I thought that was kind of funny. They were being pretty good, just looking through magazines. I used to hate taking all the kids with me to doctor's appointments, but they do so much better now, I don't mind it.
It was quite an adventurous day for us :)
