Fright Fest
After we played outside all afternoon the kids wanted to go to fright fest at Wild Waves. We were hoping to go with Doug, but he was still golfing with my dad. The golf was really slow. I think all the golfers in the area who had bought the same golf deal I bought Doug were using it that day :). I wasn't going to take the kids. But then they convinced me to go. I was glad we did. It was a really nice night, and it wasn't too crowded (which I thought it might be since it was a Saturday night.) The kids had a blast.
We found out the last time we went to Wild Waves in the summer that the boys could ride the Gambler without an adult, but it wasn't working that day. Jackson remembered it and was so excited to go on it. Jordan almost didn't go with him. I think because he wasn't sure what it was going to do. After I explained it to him, he ran up and rode with Jackson.
They both loved it!
I thought it would just spin around, but it also tilted as it spun.
They went on the wagon ride for the first time too (actually we had gone on it a year or 2 before, but they didn't remember it... I did and didn't like it, so I never encouraged them going on it because I didn't want to have to go with them :)) They lady let Kenzie go on with the boys. She said that she can ride with anyone over 42 inches tall.
She was kind of nervous when it started going up high.
But then she loved it :) Jackson and Jordan loved it too. Jordan might even say it's his favorite ride (at least that he can go on without someone 48 inches or taller.) They tried to ride it again, but it wouldn't start. And then it was closed down for the rest of the night. I was happy it didn't stop working when it was at the top :)
Colie loving the car ride.
The boat ride is much better in the summer. It was wet inside, which isn't a big deal when you're where crocs or sandals and in your swimsuit.
We also went to Booville, which was a scare-free zone for kids. It pretty much consisted of this pumpkin and skeleton, a maze that we got candy for going through, and bubbles.
It got pretty cold after the sun went down and I was feeling bad for no making my kids where warmer clothes. They told me they were fine though. Jordan kept refusing his jacket. We weren't there too long after the sun went down though. It was bedtime!
Sunny Day
We've had a pretty rainy fall this year. It was cold and rainy for several weeks. And then we had a nice, sunny, Saturday. Doug went golfing with my dad and the kids and I played outside out house. They love riding bikes. And I love having a sidewalk outside my house that they can ride bikes on. We hardly ever rode bikes outside of out last house because we had no sidewalks and I didn't want anyone getting run over. Whenever we hang out in the front yard Jackson usually grabs a baseball and a mitt and wants to play catch with me. Colie always wants in on playing catch too. He loves baseball. Maybe he'll be my kid that loves to play baseball more than the other sports :)
Jackson grabbed his t-ball hat and so Colie grabbed Jordan's. Jack let Coleman play with the mitt. Jackson stood behind him and got all the balls he missed (pretty much all of them :))
Kenzie riding Jordan's scooter. Jordan is hoping for a 2-wheeler one for Christmas (as of now. He may change his mind when he sees other things he wants.:))
Colie throwing the ball.
Jackson hiding.
Doug turned Jackson's bike into a balance bike so he could get more confidence in his balancing and learn how to ride a 2-wheeler better. He has improved a lot and will ride from the mail box to our house without putting his feet down.
Jordan on his bike.
Kenzie and Colie riding their trikes.
Potty Training and Piano
We tried to potty train Colie at the beginning of October. He didn't catch on, but by the end of the week it seemed like he kind of knew when he had to go potty; he just didn't know how to get it out when he wanted to :) He also was telling me when he went, which was an improvement from the beginning of the week when he didn't care when he went.
He was pretty cute walking around in underwear.
But I've just decided it's part of my potty training strategy to try when they're 2 and then try again a couple months later when they actually get it :)
Jackson loved potty training week. We had to stay home the whole week :) He said he wished every week was potty training week.
Kenzie loves taking pictures :)
I signed the boys up for piano with a friend in my ward. They are both doing great and loving it.
They both love playing Yankee Doodle (which hasn't actually been one of their songs yet... Alli told Jackson she loved playing it so he started playing it too and now Jordan loves to play it.)
They have written homework too, which they usually do happily :)

Science Center and Alli's Baptism
We went to the science center a couple weeks ago with some friends.
Jordan
Jackson. This is one his favorite things to do there.
We also went to Alli's baptism a couple weeks ago, on her birthday. I didn't get any pictures of her because I thought I left the camera in the car, plus I was on Camryn duty the whole time at the church (it's fun to hold a cute sleeping baby :)). But it was a great baptism :) On the way back to Ashlee's house after Jordan and Mackenzie rode with my parents. Jackson wanted to ride up by Colie:
This carseat can hold kids up to 70 pounds I think.
Coleman was excited to sit by Jackson
It was raining so hard that day. From the time it took for us to get from out car on the street to Ashlee's house Doug and the boys were all soaked. Kenzie and I wore Jackets so we didn't notice the wetness as much. Doug put his and the boys' shirts in the dryer. Doug borrowed one of Konrad's shirts, but the boys went shirtless. They thought it was pretty funny :) They don't usually go around topless.
