Easter

We had a great Easter! Jackson came home the day before so he could celebrate with us. We colored eggs, went to church, read the Easter story, hunted for eggs and baskets in our house, went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the annual money egg hunt and a delicious dinner! It was a great day! We are grateful for our Savior and his resurrection!

The Easter Bunny hid the eggs and baskets upstairs this year for an extra challenge and new hiding spots.

Jackson checked on the top of the shelves.

She was excited to find a bunch of Yoggies in her basket.

Jumping for joy!

The kids all got McDonald's gift cards!

After all the eggs and Jackson's, Kenzie's, and Coleman's baskets were found, Jordan was still looking for his! It was in a good hiding spot:)

Doug found ours!

Jackson's candy

After a game and hot and cold, Jordan found his basket in one of the 5 gallon bins in the pantry!

His basket is full of the yummiest treats (in my opinion :))

The Crabtrees are still gone, so it was just these 4 hunting for eggs. They each ended with close to 40. Jordan had the most.

It was mostly not raining during our hunt, but for a few minutes it started downpouring really hard. Kenzie found shelter in the trees.

Doug also sheltered under the trees. I was standing under the roof at the back of the pool shed.

Counting their money!

Volleyball

Jordan and Kenzie are both playing volleyball for Kent Parks and Rec again this spring. They're both having lots of fun!

Kenzie ready to kick the ball...maybe she forgot which sport she was playing :)

Soccer

Jordan had a soccer game Monday! Kentwood won. Jordan played goalie and then midfield. He was so close to scoring a goal, but it went over the goal instead of inside it.

Jordan trying to get the ball from the Auburn player.

The young women colored crowns during their lesson.

Coleman loves ping pong!

Coleman grew taller than grandma while she was in Arizona!

Hanging out before bedtime. Kenzie told us to close our eyes and then took this picture.

Doug bought a topspin trainer to help his tennis game!

I've been volunteering the childcare area of Vine Maple Place every week. It's a place that helps single parents that are homeless or almost homeless.

Doug went to a fancy dinner and magic show at Magic Castle when he was in LA for work. They have a strict dress code so he had to buy a new suit for it.

He looks good in it! :)
