Christmas Fun

Kenzie took lots of pictures of Marvin the Snowman throughout the Christmas season.

He visited Jesus.

We watch the Christmas lights show in Maple Valley.

The kids and I went to the Gingerbread Houses in Seattle. This year's theme was cities around the world. This one was Agra, India.

And there was London. This on was my favorite.

Partly because it had Mary Poppins!

Sydney, Australia

Paris, France

We decorated the tree:

It was Jordan's turn to put the star on the tree!

Jordan tried to hide behind the tree while putting the star on.

Next we decorated the downstairs one.

Since Jackson wasn't here, Doug thought I should put the star on the tree.

Doug and Kenzie went to Home Depot like this to get some Christmas decorations. Haha!

Then they put the decorations up outside. They did great!

Marvin again...

Kenzie Driving!

Kenzie drove around the church parking lot for the first time today! She starts driver's ed on Saturday so she has her permit.

Haircut for Coleman

Coleman's hair was getting very, very long!

Especially in the back.

So handsome! He's loving not having hair in his eyes!

Snowflake Lane

Kenzie and I went with the young women to Snowflake Lane and then ice skating.

Kenzie and Delaynie ice skating.

Forgotten Children's Fund

Kenzie, Delaynie, and I went to wrap presents at the Forgotten Children's Fund. We had a lot of fun, even though it was freezing in there! When we walked outside, it didn't feel any colder (and it was 40 degrees outside!) We hope to go several more times before Christmas!

Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree from East Hill Nursery again this year. We found one really quick this year! We got one marked in the 5-6 ft height range, but it was actually over 6 ft so we got a better deal!

Jordan picked it up and started carrying it himself.

Kenzie wanted to try.

She did it! And carried it about half way home.

Coleman carried the shrubs and he and Kenzie were calling them.

Jordan carried it the rest of the way home after Kenzie was ready to be home.
