Riding Lawn Mower

We went to my parents' house to swim today. After they were done, my dad let them ride the lawn mower. Jackson and Jordan loved driving it. Kenzie and Coleman were too small to do it on their own.
Jordan got to try it out first.

I didn't get a picture of Kenzie on it. Here she's just finished her ride. She must not have loved it since she took such a short turn.

Coleman loved it!

The spectators

Grandpa teaching Jack how to ride. He told us he starting riding a riding lawn mower when he was 8 or 9 years old. And then he said he had a motorcycle at 12. That made Jackson wonder if he could get one.

Jackson said he wants to come back and mow their lawn now.

Wild Waves

We went to Wild Waves for probably the last time until August yesterday. The weather forecast said rain, but it turned out to be pretty nice. It was partly sunny almost the whole day.
Coleman and I on the Kangabounce.

We went with our friends, the Rabans. They have 5 boys. All 8 of our boys are on the Kiddie Coaster. From front to back: Tate, Cole, Coleman, Jackson, Hunter, Wyatt, Mason, and Jordan

We also brought Allie and her mom Kristy with us. The girls wanted to go off and rides together so Kristy stayed with them while I stayed with by boys and the Rabans.

Mariners' Game

We went to another M's game on Saturday with my parents.
Doug and I sat with these two a few rows behind my parents and the big boys. Kenzie spent most of the game reading and eating.

Grandpa was so kind and bought them treats.

After about 7th inning we were able to go sit in the front row with my parents.

Coleman loves to ask what's going on and what things mean.

It was such a fun night!

Solo

I took Jackson, Jordan, and some of their friends to see the new Han Solo movie while Doug took Mackenzie and Coleman to take your kid to work day at Amazon.

Jackson's friends spent a lot of money trying to grab a Jurassic Park stuffed dinosaur.

Last Day of Soccer Camp

Kenzie had her last day of soccer camp. She's out on that field somewhere. My phone camera doesn't take very good zoomed in pictures so I settled for a very far away shot :)

Kenzie's friend Allie came over to play after. They made some cookies mostly by themselves. Luckily I checked on the dough because I looked in and didn't see much flour. I asked them if they added enough. They said, yes, they added two 1/4 cups. At first I was kind of impressed that they knew that however much flour they needed divided by two was 1/4. But that still didn't seem like enough flour. I looked at the recipe and it said 2 1/4 cups flour. They thought it meant 2 quarter cups not 2 AND a quarter cups. :)

We went to Shakey's for dinner. I remember going there a few times after playing softball when I was younger. It has yummy pizza and they were showing a Mariners' game from 1998. It was fun to see the players that played then, including Alex Rodriguez, who I got a picture of.

Last Day of Geology Club

We had a party and did some panning for gems. Kenzie missed because she was at her last day of soccer camp, but the boys at fun.

Last Day of Swim Lessons

Coleman had his last day of swim lessons last week.  He loved it and is sad to be done.

Jordan came to see how good of a swimmer Coleman is. He's rereading Harry Potter right now so he brought book 1 to read when the other kids in the class were swimming.

Coleman's favorite: breaststroke

During toy time Coleman always grabs a kick board and tries to balance on it and move around on it.
