Sprinkler, Sewing, and Art

We bought a new sprinkler and Kenzie and Colie wanted to try it out. It was the kind I loved using when I was a kid. And it's better than any of our other ones :)

One of Kenzie's favorite things to do is get the mail. She gets it almost every day.

She went through a faze where she wanted to sew all the time. She made this cute sleep mask.

She never actually uses it for sleeping though.
I think she tried the first night or two, but hasn't worn it since. I should really find it and start using it, then I wouldn't have to wrap my baby blanket around my head:)

The kids drew faces for art.

I think these are Jordan's and Jackson's.

I think these are Coleman's and Kenzie's.

Dance Recital

The kids had their dance recital at the beginning of June. The theme this year was Peter Pan.

These pictures are from the long rehearsal that was the night before the shows.
Kenzie's ballet class were coins. During the rehearsal she kept playing with her earrings. Her jazz/hip hop teacher, Miss Mallory, is standing next to her.

Kenzie is the second one from the left.

Kenzie's jazz/hip hop class were rainbows.

Star jump!

Jackson and Jordan were monkeys. They are the 2 boys in the front.

Jackson is the front, right monkey, Jordan is behind him in the very back.

This is my favorite part of their dance. Jordan is standing on the right, and Jackson is still squatting on the left, in the front.

These are pictures from the day of the recital.

The fans!

Kenzie was sad she couldn't find me after the second performance.

Still looking for me...

She finally found me!

So happy now :)

I would post the videos of their dances, but the files are too big to post :(

Wild Waves

We were so excited to go to Wild Waves again! We went the first day it was open for the summer. It's always open in May on the weekends, but just the rides. It's also open on Memorial Day, but we think it would be way to crowded for us that day! So we went when everyone was still in school :)
It wasn't too hot that day.

Jackson is so happy to finally be too tall for the kiddie rides because it means he can drive bumper cars! Unfortunately, they were closed the first 3-4 times we went to Wild Waves :(

Coleman, Jordan, and Kenzie on the log ride. Jackson hates this ride because he doesn't like getting wet on it. Even though he was wearing his swim suit.

They all duck to avoid getting wet as much as possible.

After rides we played in the water.

Wild Waves posted this picture on their Facebook page and my friend noticed it was Coleman from a couple years ago. So cute!
