Some Pictures

Mackenzie lost more teeth. I'm pretty sure she is at 8 now.

Kenzie made a list of things she wants to do in the snow: (some of the spelling has been changed to make for easier reading :))
hide out
snowman. snow angels
sledding wall
snow ball fight
snow pizza? snow cones?
game using snowman

Kenzie LOVES writing notes to people. I only post a few of my favorites so I can remember them if I lose the original, which I often keep too :) This is a cute one she wrote:
Dear Mommy,
I love you. Your the best. (She starts most letters out this way:)) You frogot to wave to me at the widow (window.) Did you have fun at the moive (movie). I'm so very sad that you frgot to wave to. I askt you to wave to me. Me and Colie have stoys (I think that's supposed to be stories) for evreon. I now (know) this is not vere (very) much but I just wantid to wite (write) to you.
Love Kenzie.

(disclaimer: I did actually wave to her at the window she was just not paying attention)

She looks so big in her earrings. I just keep taking pictures of her :)

Coleman sometimes sets up "surprises" in his room. He gets a bunch of toys and games and sets them up around his room. We use to tickets to come in and play with everything. He makes up a game for all the toys that are set up. It's super cute.

Coleman and Jordan were wearing their matching Chewbacca clothes.

He left us a for a week to go to Seoul, South Korea for work. We missed him, but were happy that he got to see a new part of the world that he's never seen before :) It was really weird because South Korea is about 17 or 18 hours ahead of us. So when I would be putting the kids to bed it was lunchtime for Doug. Hopefully we'll get Doug's pictures on here from the trip.

Colie helped me make some pancakes. He made himself a c. He likes pancakes now. Kenzie still doesn't.

One of Colie's "surprises" all set up.  I love this kid!

Birthday Party Fun

We went to a friends' birthday party at a bouncy house. The kids had a great time!

Co-op

We made Stonehenge out of peanut butter play dough.

Coleman and Kenzie working on theirs.

We also learned about the effects water has on land.

We had a Valentine's Day party after Valentine's Day. It was a fun party :)

Valentine's Day

We had a fun Valentine's Day. It was mostly just a normal day that started with candy and love notes. Some of the kids also made everyone valentines. I enjoyed Valentine's Day more because of this. It was cute watching them make them and give them to each other.

Jack crocheted Colie some pieces that he can put together to make an animal. I think he wanted to sew it all together and make it a bear, but it turned out harder than he thought it would be. He also gave him some Pokemon cards.

Jack made Kenzie and her bear (named either Browny or William, depending who she is around) matching hats.

Jackson made me Muddy Buddies (with some help from Doug.) He gets the Sports Illustrated for Kids magazine and they had some valentines in it so he cut one out for each of us. Mine was a baseball one.

Doug even got in the Valentine's Day spirit and bought me a beautiful necklace. It was a fun surprise to find :) He even skipped breakfast getting it and my love note ready and helping Jack make me muddy buddies. I'm a lucky lady!

Kenzie handing out her valentines. She made Jordan a home for his toy ant.

She made me this guy and wrote me a sweet card.

Jack made these Doug Baldwin and Drew Brees figures for Doug and Jordan. They were an idea from his Sports Illustrated magazine. These were the reason that the kids started making valentines. Jackson was excited to make them and was talking about making valentines so the other kids wanted to too.  Jordan made some stuff out of the loom rubber bands on Valentines Day. He had started other days making things, but I guess he never finished them so most of his day was spent making things for the rest of us. Coleman didn't make any valentines :)

We are happy this cute, sweet kids is in our family!

Ear Piercing

Mackenzie got her ears pierced in the beginning of February. She has been asking since summer and I made sure she knew it would hurt so she wouldn't change her mind once we were there. She did great and just sat perfectly still and stared straight ahead while it happened.
Last picture without earrings!

She looks so big now. After she said that her and Nati really do match now. She also she just needs to have thinner hair or have Nati get thicker hair :)

We went out for ice cream after. She got this stuffed animal too. They were only $5 with an ear piercing :)

Snow Day

We woke up to a lot of snow (for Washington, that is:)) It was beautiful and the kids were so excited to play in it.

Our fence had fallen over a few days before from the wind.

We had about 7 inches.

So beautiful!

Kenzie built a snowman.

As did Jordan.

Doug helped the kids build a huge snowman.

They had to work together to lift the middle part of the snowman.

One of the neighborhood boys helped build the snowman. A lot of the neighbor kids were sledding by our house too. It was fun having lots of kids around.

Doug and Kenzie sledding down the hill by our house.

Jordan stayed out the longest. He didn't come in until I asked him if he wanted some lunch.
