Christmas Eve

We had a fabulous Christmas Eve.
The kids were so excited to open a present.

Christmas jammies! I decided to not make them this year.

Alli, Cam, Kimber, Sam, Kenna,
Colie, Jordan, Kenzie, Nati, Jackson

Jordan started posing :)

We opened presents from each other.

Kenzie loves puppies!

So excited to get puppets.

My dad got on his golf outfit...

We decorated cookies.

He didn't want to decorate the cookies; he just wanted to play Chess with Grandpa. I made him participate though :)

Richard tried peeling potatoes with a drill. It didn't work too well... We were just splatter with potato peels.

I think there were 37 people there for the party. We ate dinner, read the Christmas story, sang songs, and hit the pinata.

My dad wanted to make sure he was well protected this year :)

Kenzie, wearing Nati's clothes :)

I think Jack broke it.

My mom bought 2 pinatas this year so that the kids older than Sam would be able to have a turn, but Jackson broke the first one (I think...) and Sam still broke the second one. Poor big kids.

When we were trying to get the kids to get their shoes on, I told Coleman that we needed to go home so Santa could come. He got so excited and quickly got ready to home. When he was home and in bed, I went in to give him a hug and a kiss and he asked if Santa was there yet. Then he asked Doug the same thing. He also didn't want to sleep with his door open at all or his music on. Christmas is so fun with little kids :)

Snow, Playing, Snow Flake Lane

The Kenyons came here for Christmas! They were here for 3 and a half weeks. We met them at my parents' house the day they arrived. It had been snowing a little that day.
The kids rain out to play in it. What you don't see is that Jordan is wearing shorts and flip flops. He doesn't really like winter clothes...

They look like they just landed or are about to be sucked away :)

The next day my parents took all the kids except Camryn and Coleman to the Nutcracker. Michelle, Ashlee, and I took Cam and Colie to a new play area in Factoria Mall. They had a lot of fun! I'm going to have to take all my kids back there to play. They'll all love it.

That night the whole family, except Michelle, went to Snowflake Lane. It was so cold and rainy, but still fun.
Jordan (kind of hidden), Jackson, Doug, Sam, Richard, Kenna. Kenna didn't bring her coat and so grandpa shared his with her.She was still freezing.

Alli, Kenna, Nati, Kenzie, Sam, Jack, Jordan, and Colie with the Snow Princess.

Gingerbread Houses

We decorated gingerbread houses with the Crabtrees.

Colie's house is on the far left, with the white tree. I have everyone else's lined up below, but for some reason I didn't include Coleman's. Maybe it had already been moved away...

Alli's, mine, Kimber's, Jackson's

Jordan's, Sam's Konrad's

Dougs, Kenzie's, Ashlee's/Cam's

Ornament Party

Kenzie and I went to the annual mother/daughter ornament party at the Crabtrees. We had a great time!
We decorated Christmas trees.

Cam only got to hang out with us for a little bit before Konrad took her to the car museum.

We ended up with a lollipop and owl ornament. Kenzie had a hamburger ornament (which she stole from someone during the ornament game) but it shattered. A kind girl offered Kenzie one of hers since she had 2. Kenzie was so happy!

Santa

I took the kids to see Santa at the mall this year. They hadn't had a picture with him in a couple years, and I'm not sure if Coleman has ever had a picture with him, not one he would remember at least.
Of course we had to ride the little Merry Go Round.

We also left quarters by the candy machines as part of Christmas for Ian. We forgot tape, so we just put the quarters next to it.

We also splurged and rode the big carousel. Kenzie was very excited to find a kitty one to ride.

Kenzie told him she wanted a real live puppy.

Jordan said chopsticks.

Jackson told him a remote control boat.

And Colie said a truck.
