Hawaii Day 9

This morning we went to Hukilau:

The kids went to left a little ways to find the bigger waves.

Colie, Kenzie, Nati. Nati told me they were building and house and that was the potty. Then she giggled :)

 Love Cam's hat!

She has to look up so high to see.

Kenzie always tries to rinse off her legs and feet when she wants to sit on the sheet.

 Camryn

The men left before the rest of us and went golfing at a country club until dinner time.
After lunch we waited for my mom to get back from Costco, then we went to Temple Beach.
The women read. Every time I got my Kindle out it started to rain and I had to put it away. It just wasn't meant to be.

It rained kind of hard for awhile.

When Colie decides he's done with the water and the sand, he comes over to me and asks me to take off his life jacket and put his towel around him. Then he sits with me while he dries off.

Alli convinced Ashlee to go in when it was raining.

Coleman pointed out a crab to me, then put his legs up on mine.

Kimber and Cam (and Kenna) walked down after Cam woke up from her nap.

Cam was being so funny the whole time we were there. She's too cute!

 The kids' sand creations.

Colie fell asleep on my lap again :)

Hawaii Day 8

We walked to church this morning at 10. My mom (with some help) cooked us a delicious turkey dinner.
 My mom and the helpers.

Then the kids put on some dance recitals for us.
This was the free style part of the show.

 The final bow.

This evening we walked to BYU Hawaii and played in the grass for awhile.
Grandpa doing some belly bumps. All the kids love these.

Cute Kenzie and Nati holding hands.

Grandma, Jack, Sam, Grandpa, Kenna, Jordan, Alli, Coleman, Shell, Nati, Kenzie (smiling what she said is her new smile.)

I tried getting a cute picture of these 3, but Coleman isn't looking in this picture...

Jack's not in this one and Coleman is closing his eyes.

And Jack's looking away in this one. At least Grandma looks great in all of them :)

The kids, grandpa, Michelle and Richard played tag in the grass.

 I love palm trees!

Colie took a bunch of pictures:
He likes taking them of himself.

Camryn kept telling Konrad to say cheese when she saw Coleman was taking pictures. So Colie went over and took a picture of them.

 Me in Kenna's glasses.

Kenzie may have taken most of the next ones. Or Coleman might have... I'm not sure.

Cam wanted Jordan to carry her.

Colie, Nati, Kenzie holding hands on the way home.

I love how warm it is at night! It's perfect!

Hawaii Day 7

We had a lazy Saturday morning. We stayed home and played games, watched TV, and some of the kids made up a play.
The kids at the end of the play.

 Grandpa and Jordan playing UNO.

This time they are doing a skit. The did 3 of them for us. 2 of them Jack saw at scout camp.

After lunch we walked to Temple Beach.
 We need lots of sunscreen.

 Alli, Ash, Cam, Konrad

 Kenzie and Colie

 Shell and my dad

Sam and Kenna love playing in the sand!

Coleman slept for about an hour. The first thing he said when he woke up was "I'm not dry yet." He likes to be dry before he eats his snacks :)

The men and all the kids 9 and older walked to Hukilau because the waves were huge there. I think they said some were 10 feet tall. They were getting tossed like crazy. Jack lost Kenna's goggles that he's been using.

That night we left all the kids with Kimber and went on a date. We went to a hamburger restaurant that I think is called 7 Brothers. Doug got me some Taco Bell since I don't really like burgers. Then we saw the new Mission Impossible movie and then had ice cream. It was a fun night!
Doug's burger was a bit too big for his mouth!
