PSE Family Picnic

We went to my dad's work family picnic. Jackson had been before but none of the rest of us had. He kept reminding us of that fact :) It was at Lake Tapps and was really fun. There were blow toys, crafts, games, bucket rides, and Reptile Man came. Thanks dad for letting us come!

Jordan didn't want to do the bucket ride so us and Coleman played while the others waited in line. Doug, Jack, Kenzie, and Nati all ended up not going in the bucket ride at that time because they went to see the Reptile Man.

Sam and her friend in the bucket ride.

Coleman touching a snake.

Jack, Kenna, and Alli checking out the snake.

 Kenna wanted to hold it.

 She's holding up it's head.

Alli wanted to hold it too.

But she thought it was too heavy to hold up for very long.

 There was also a tortoise.

There was also some kind of rubber snake... Maybe a rubber python? It's supposed to be very rare I think.

Eating ice cream sandwiches and popsicles to hold us over until the lunch line became much shorter.

 We played some beach volleyball.

Kenna and Jack doing a craft.

 Coleman eating bread.

Kenzie and Nati playing.

 Coleman trying to hula hoop.

Once it warmed up in the afternoon the kids went swimming.

Konrad took most of the kids out on the boat.

They jumped in to swim back to shore.

 Michelle blowing bubbles for Coleman.

The rest of the kids jumped in/were thrown in except Kenzie. Konrad probably didn't want to hear a bunch of screaming if he threw here in :)

 Coleman loved splashing his toes.

Grandpa helped Nati and Jack get in the bucket ride. They were the last ride of the day. I think it's funny that they're holding up their harnesses. I don't think the harnesses would save them if they fell.

 Don't they look cute?

We ate lots of shave ice. Not quite the same as Matsumotos, but it was pretty good :)

Jack and Nati in the bucket
ride. That thing goes so high up. Jordan said it went too high up for him to go on. Kenzie wanted too, but I didn't want her to unless Doug was with her.

Jordan's 3rd Tooth

Jordan lost his 3rd tooth on the 17th. He pulled it out himself.

Super excited!

Wild Waves

We went to Wild Waves with the Kenyons and Crabtrees. All the kids loved it. It so fun to play with cousins all the time :)
I took these ones and Coleman to the little kids rides. All the other kids were able to ride the bigger rides.

They love the frog hopper. Kenzie, Jack, Jordan, Nati. The rode it twice in a row. The second time there were 4 other kids riding too (Jack didn't go that time) and Kenzie wouldn't get on at first because she would have had to sit in between 2 kids she didn't know. So one of the moms told the kids to switch so Kenzie could sit by Jordan and Nati. Then the ride wouldn't start and there were sitting on it for at least 5 minutes waiting for the worker to figure it out. After the ride Kenzie's hand got squished by one of the other kids and she refused to get off the ride until I came to get her.

Nati, Coleman, Jackson. Colie still loves the rides.

This picture makes me laugh :)

 And this one.

Coleman, Jordan, Nati, Kenzie in the boat ride.

After lunch we went swimming. My kids spent most of the time in the hot tub.

 Coleman

Coleman again. He didn't go down the waters slide that day. He almost did, then another kid came on it so he got down.

Nati, Jordan, Kenzie, Kimber between 2 of her friends.

Coleman played with Michelle for awhile.

Family Mariners' Game

We went to the Mariners game with all my family (except Richard since he was back in Texas). It was fun night. :)

Mackenzie spends most of time at games begging for food.

Coleman looks so big to me in this picture.

 Michelle and Jordan.

Kenzie, Nati, Jordy, watching the hat trick.

Mackenzie and Natalie eating Dippin' Dots after grandpa took all the kids (minus Coleman) to get snacks. Michelle went with him. She claimed she wanted a snack... but thinking back I don't remember her getting one.

 Jordan with his Dippin' Dots.

 Coleman ate some fries.

 Grandpa and Alli.

Grandma and grandpa and the grandkids.

Kimber, Camryn, grandma, Nati, Alli, Jordan, Grandpa, Jack, Coleman, Sam, Kenzie, Kenna.

Kenna pulling out the bunny ears.

Grandpa and Coleman. Coleman really like sprinklers.

Coleman's Stats

We took Coleman to the doctor a couple weeks ago. I used to hate taking all my kids to the doctor. It used to be stressful because my kids would try to get into things and would be loud or try to talk to me when the doctor was talking to me. Now they do great and I don't mind doing it. It also helped that it was a really fast visit without much waiting between the nurse and the doctor and then the nurse again for shots.

His stats:
25 lbs/25th  percentile
33in/25th percentile

I think those are the right numbers :)

Update without Pictures

We had a few big firsts this week and I forgot my camera so I couldn't capture either of them with pictures. I'll just have to settle with words for now :)

Jackson swam for the first time with no floats on at swimming lessons! He was really excited to not have to wear them and he did great. He said it's much harder to float on his back without them.

Today Coleman rode the rides at Wild Waves. He was really excited to try them and loved them. He rode the car ride and first and was squealing and laughing most of the time. And waving and saying "Hi mommy!" every time he saw me. He loved the cars the most, but also liked the boats.

And 2 cute stories:

Yesterday Jordan used his popsicle stick from the popsicle Ashlee had bought him from the ice cream car as a magic wand. Then he said he was going to cast a spell. He said "Abracadabra make me love mommy super much!"

Tonight we went to dinner at Ashlee's house and when we got there Coleman looked out their back sliding door and yelled "jumpy toy!" when he saw the trampoline : ) That's what we call our baby jumperoo (that we have set up still...) and Jordan's Jumpsmart.

Sleeping

For the last few weeks my kids have been wanting to sleep in the same room. We let them do it in Jordan's room a few weeks ago and they did great the first night, then bad the next night so we hadn't let them until this week. I thought it might help Jordan go to sleep better if he wasn't alone so we tried having him sleep in Kenzie's room. They didn't do well and he ended up in his own room. The next night we let him and Kenzie try sleeping in Jack's room. Jordan did great, but Kenzie had to go back to her room. Last night and tonight they're all in there again and have done good. They have been really tired too from all the playing they've been doing with their cousins :) Last night they decided they want to all sleep next to each other on the same blanket. Doug's was wondering why we needed a 6 bedroom house :) I'm wondering why we need beds.  :)

Doug was afraid the flash was going to blind him.

Coleman woke up when we went in his room. He usually doesn't. But this night he did and stood up, then immediately fell over. It reminded us of when Kenzie used to do that almost every night. It was always so cute. She didn't always stand. But she would usually try to sit up.

We laid him back down and put his blankie on him, like he likes it to be.

And he went back to sleep :)
