Park with Cousins

Michelle wanted to go pick some raspberries. She knew of a place that is pretty far away from my house, so I suggested that we go to a place near my house that we went to last year. But I didn't call and see if they were open or anything. And they weren't. And we drove to a couple wrong farms on are way there. I still feel bad that she didn't get her berries... But since we didn't do that we decided to get
Little Caesar's Pizza and go to park.
Kenna, Alli, Sam, Kimber on the spinning thing.

Cute Kenzie.

Cute Kenzie and Nati.

The cousins! Jordan, Jack, Kenzie, Kimber, Camryn, Jack, Alli, Kenna, Nati, Sam. There was a little boy that had been playing with them and he wanted to be in the pictures too... Luckily he sat at the right spot and we could take the pictures without him in it :)

 Funny faces.

 The cousins minus Camryn.

 Nati and Camryn.

Ashlee was very nice and splurged on popsicles from the ice cream car.

I wanted to take a picture of Nati, but she only wanted to smile for her mom.

After the park Shell and I went back to my house. The kids played outside for awhile.

I didn't really think Coleman would get all that wet and hadn't put his swimsuit on. But he just climbed in the pool and sat down.

Pool Time

We finally blew up our pool (that Jordan told Ashlee was as big as Doug's brother, Jason's, pool in Arizona).  The boys were excited to finally play in it. Kenzie had gone upstairs and taken a nap so she didn't play in it the first day.

Jordan has been doing awful at bedtime lately. He gets up many times after we put him to bed and  is just trouble. Nothing we do seems to make a difference. Unless we think of something new that he really really wants. Then it might work for one night (like when I told him that he wouldn't be able to use Grandma and Grandpa Crabtree's zipline if he got out of bed. He did great that night.) A few nights ago when Doug got home much later than normal from work, I was putting the kids to bed alone and tried to sit in with Jordan until he fell asleep (like I had the couple nights before about an hour after he had gone to bed) and so I asked Jack to read books to Kenzie and Colie while I was with Jordan. He did it for 15-20 minutes. It was pretty cute when I came down and he was reading to them. Too bad Jordan hadn't fallen asleep. But he was sleeping in Jack's room and still stayed in bed since he didn't want to be sent back to his room. That was a long story for one picture :)

Reading and Funny Faces

I've been working on reading with Mackenzie. She'd doing really well and usually loves doing it.

She really loves praise and like to do things that people will praise her for doing.

And here's the funny faces:

Farmer's Market

We went to the Farmer's Market a few Saturdays ago. They have a splash pad there that wasn't open the last couple times we went there. We were excited to see it was open this time. We bought some yummy strawberries, ate them, and the kids played in the water.

I was surprised Coleman was getting in the water so much. He was completely wet by the time we left.

Even a dog came to play.

Makenna's Birthday Party

Michelle and her family have been here for more than 2 weeks. (Actually they spent one week here, and one in Oregone, but they're back now.... except Richard. He had to go back home to work...) It's been great seeing them so much, but I have been so bad about taking pictures. All the cousins are loving playing together so much. Kenna's birthday was at the end of June, and we celebrated with her the day before and Lake Sammamish. Richard's parents reserved our own private beach area. It was so nice. The weather was perfect. There was shade. The water wasn't too freezing (for Washington lakes...) We all had a great time!

They even had a friend with a boat come and drive anyone who wanted around the lake.  Some people rode on that yellow think. Jackson even did, which surprised me. He said it was kind of fun. He loved riding in the boat and driving it. Jordan and Kenzie liked the boat too. Kenzie went in it without Doug or me or even Michelle in it. Richard was there, but he makes her a little nervous most of the time :). Jackson was in there too. She must have wanted to go pretty bad.

Jordan wanted to be extra prepared for the water :)

 Jackson

It was a little windy and Kenna's candles kept blowing out so they held up a towel to block the wind.

And she was able to blow out her candles.

This time they just went out on a slow trip around the lake. Doug, Jackson, Jordan, Mackenzie all went on this ride. Jordan didn't want to go until he found out Doug was going too.

The kids (and grandpa) loved squirting each other.

 Colie playing in the sand.

Jordan digging.
